We both sat down onto the ground. My head was somewhere up in the clouds, and Link was silent. It was awkward again.
Then I heard a sniffle coming from Links direction. I turned my head and saw his cheeks and nose red and watery eyes.
"L-Link? Are you okay?"
Link nodded timidly. "Yeah, I just uh... need to go back to the Zoras."
"Why?"
"Uhh the bed is comfy there."
"Oh... ok, sure."
Link and I stood up and walked back. I couldn't help but feel like Link didn't want to hang out with me anymore. Maybe he wanted to go back because he wanted to hang out with Ludah... I frowned from the thought. Link noticed it.
"Are you alright?"
"Hm? Oh yeah, I'm fine. Totally fine."
"No, you're not. What's bothering you?"
My heart swelled. Only a true friend would actually be able to understand what you really feel.
"I... I just feel like you're sick of me..."
He looked a little surprised. "N-no! Y/n I love your company, I just uh... I just need to rest, we've been walking for a long time."
"Oh."
Link's POV
Did it actually look like I was sick of her? Of course I wasnt! I was getting a little sick of Ludah, actually, always appearing suddenly out of nowhere. I still liked her... I think.
I was actually feeling a little feverish... the medicine helped a lot, but it didn't heal me completely.
Y/n and i finally approached the transparent structure and she led me to the bed silently. She opened her mouth to speak when another voice spoke up.
"Hiiii link! I was wondering where you've went~"
"Hey Ludah, y/n and I were just taking a walk."
Ludah narrowed her 'eyebrows'. "Without me?" She asked challengingly. Y/n rolled her eyes. "Yes, I'm pretty sure that's the case. You're not his only friend, you know."
Ludah clenched her teeth.
"Link, we're going on a walk tomorrow. By ourselves." She said. I nodded quickly. I know that I have to agree with her, she'll just throw a fit if I don't.
Ludah smiled sweetly and skipped off.
"Well, it looks pretty dark out there. Go back to bed, you look a little sick." Y/n said.
I tucked myself in the bed and fell fast asleep......
