Y/N's POV
I watched Link talk to Ludah and frowned. He obviously liked her. I tried to forget it. When Ludah went away, I turned back to Sidon. He said," Anyways, what was I saying? Oh yes! We have got some new tridents made. Dento has some real skill. I have never seen anyone make that many tridents in one day!"
"Oh uh that's cool but shall we get started?"
Sidon clapped his hands. "YES!" I giggled. Sometimes he could be such a kid! Although it felt like he was going to topple over me...
Anyways, training was fun! I actually really like fighting. But I was training with a dummy, not with a real monster that can move and actually fight back. But Sidon says that I am very good at this.
Of course, if I want to learn how to fight an actual Lynel, I'll have to train for like, a YEAR. Maybe even THIRTEEN HUNDRED THOUSAND years. Okay now I'm just being dramatic.
Sidon showed me how to hold a trident correctly. Then he showed me how to start a battle. First you hide behind something, so the enemy doesn't see you. Then you get your bow out and shoot at it. If you are lucky you'll hit the enemies head and it'll die. If you don't hit its head, then it will probably see you. After practice, (let's call it that) I got out my phone which I surprisingly still had, and EVEN MORE SURPRISINGLY there was FRIKIN INTERNET. I didn't stop to think about it. I searched 'how to fight a Lynel' in YouTub and started watching.
(A/N: Fighting a Lynel is much easier in Age of Calamity.)
It was a great tutorial, except for one thing: LINK WAS NAKED. I mean, HOW?? Fighting a Lynel is hard, but NAKED??
At one point, Sidon secretly came and watched the video with me over my shoulder. Then when Link came in sight again (and still naked), Sidon yelled, "OMIGODDESSES!" I yelped and turned around. Sidon blushed.
Sidon's POV
I was arguing with Muzu again when I caught sight of y/n. I blushed. She was just so cute! She seemed to be looking down at something, turning her back away from me. Ignoring Muzu's yelling, I tip-toed over to y/n and looked down. It was... some sort of Sheikah Slate without the Sheikah Eye. She was watching a Lynel running around. Then suddenly Link came out. He was FRIKIN NAKED.
"OMIGODDESSES!" I blurted out as y/n yelped cutely and turned around. I blushed again.
"Wh- what are you doing here? How long have you been there?!" she asked.
"I u-um, I was looking at what you wrote doing a-and I've been there for um, quite a long time." I babbled. 'Ughhhh, learn to be confident in front of cuties!' I scolded myself.
"Uh ok...," she said. "But please never do that again!" She added.
"Of course! Oh and, um, what were you looking at the Lynel on?" I asked.
"It's called a phone." She said.
"Huh. Is it a Sheikah Slate?" I asked.
"No, it's a device that is similar to one, but it can do different things like calling, FaceTiming, calculating, setting timers and even playing games!" she explained.
"Never heard of them before."
She sighed and walked away. I opened my mouth to say something, but didn't let it come out.
Y/N's POV
I walked away and suddenly saw Link standing in front of me.
"Y/n?"
"Yeah?
"Would you, um, like to go on a walk together?"
I blushed at the word 'together'.
"U-um... of course." I answered.
He smiled slightly. It was the most handsome smile I've ever seen. Even more handsome than Sidons-
"Wait. How did you heal so quickly?"
"Ludah gave me a medicine. It worked really well."
I felt a small feeling of jealousy. "Oh." Then I perked up. "Oh, I know!" I had an idea.
He raised his eyebrow. "What?"
"Look at this!" I looked through his things and pulled out some Rubber Pants.
"What're you gonna do with those?" He asked, completely puzzled.
"Hmm... well, first of all, how much do you like these?"
"I dunno. I guess they're pretty cool, but I don't use them a lot."
"Are you okay with me ripping them apart?" That kinda startled him. But then he calmed down.
"Sure. But seriously, what are you about to do?"
I smiled. "You'll see!"
After about half an hour...
"Ta-da!" I exclaimed. I made an umbrella. Link looked at it like it was some crazy new invention. Well, technically, it was in Hyrule.
"What's that?" He asked.
"It's an umbrella." I said. Then I quickly added, "um, I just thought of the name. But anyways, when the rain falls on in while it's above us, it will protect us from getting wet."
He looked impressed. "Wow, nice! I can't wait to start using it!" I giggled at his behavior.
"Well then, shall we go?"
After a few hours...
Link's POV
We walked together, both holding the "umbrella", in still silence. Awkward silence. We were both blushing a little.
I wish I could call it a date.
I blushed even more at that thought. I glanced over at y/n. She was looking at the ground, as if deciding what to say.
I decided to break the silence. "So..."
She looked up. "Hm?"
"Uh, what do you think of Ludah?"
She furrowed her eyebrows a little. Why did I have to ask that question??
"Why do you ask?"
"I don't know... I just think she's... nice... y'know... because of the medicine. And, uh... she's pretty..."
Y/n looked down without a word. I must've upset her.
"Well, she is kind of... rude. I met her when I accidentally bumped into her. She started yelling at me. She obviously hates me. She has a very big... ego. I don't like her at all." Y/n answered. I appreciated her being honest. "It's all right, you're my friend too."
Y/N's POV
"It's all right, you're my friend too." He said.
Wow. Way to be friend zoned, y/n.
