Y/n's POV
I was telling Link about Lovers Pond when someone else came over. It was Ludah. I glared at her. She came over to Link and said in a 'soothing' voice," Oh, you poor thing. You almost drowned. How come you agreed to get on her back? Of course, she did that on purpose. I'm sure that-"
"Excuse me, but I definitely did not want Link to fall off me. You just want Link to hate me!" I yelled, clearly annoyed.
"Of course not. He already does not love you. And remember you were telling him about Lovers Pond? Well, it's ME who he's going to meet there, because I am his true love."
"We'll see about that." I snapped.
"Yes we will." She snickered.
We glared at each other as she walked away. I turned to Link," Sorry about that. She's so rude." He smiled. "It's okay. I definitely don't like that asshole." I faked a smile. I was still worried.
'What if he actually loves Ludah? What if he said that just so I don't feel bad? What if she was right? What if she is his true love? But just like, UGH there's so much stress going on! What will I do?
I honestly REALLY like Link. He has beautiful golden hair and sky blue eyes. It'd really hurt if he liked Ludah. Then Link said," So y/n, what's that you were saying about Lovers Pond?"
"Oh yeah, so if you wanna find your true love, then that's a great place to go. Here, give me your Sheikah Slate, I'll show you where it is." He looked kind of surprised.
"How did you know that I had had it?"
"I guess I - just saw it?" I didn't want to tell him how I actually knew that he had it.
(A/N: you know how... remember?)
"Oh, okay."
I got the Sheikah Slate and showed him where it was on the map.
"See, you can mark this spot in case you forget." I showed him.
Link's POV
Y/n showed me a bunch of stuff that I didn't know on the Slate.
' How come she knows more than me about the Sheikah Slate if this is the first time she has ever used it?' This was getting suspicious...
When I mentioned it, she stuttered," O-oh, heh I j-just uhh... I have been doing uhm... research!" I raised an eyebrow. Then I said," well then, shall I see what you have been researching!"
"Uhm... well, ya see... I'm uhh... kinda... I don't have time now, b-but we can some other time?"
"Okay then..."
Then we just sat there for a moment. I said," I'd like to come to Lovers Pond someday, y'know. I'd like to know who's my true love." She smiled, but I could tell it was fake. "Yeah, I sure hope you do! Though it's definitely not me." She whispered the last part, but I could hear it clearly.
"Aw, don't worry, you'll find your true love someday. Even if it takes a long time." I reassured her.
I know that this is kind of strange, but y/n is pretty attractive. One thing that's pretty cool about her is that her eyes were e/c, not yellow like the other Zoras.
(A/N: i know that you don't have yellow eyes.)
