Hey, [m/n] here, I bet you're all wonder why and how I was murder, right?

Well let's just say life has a very interesting way of working. And what I mean by that is life is a bitch and in this fucked up society people only care about two thing...

How deep your pockets are and/or how amazing and powerful your quirk is. And I happened to be one of the people that ended up with neither.

I'm pretty sure you all must be a little confused, so in order to understand better let's go all the way back to the beginning. So, sit back, relax, cause you're in for a long story...

*baby crying sounds*

Stop, not all the way back... Lets begin with a few month before I received my quirk shall we?

"Mom...?" [m/n]'s mother looked up from the book she was currently invested in to face the little four year old child that was biologically her son

"What is it? Can't you see I'm busy" She stated in annoyance, most other kids would flinch away whenever their mother would talk to them in that tone, but [m/n] was used to it. For some reason she always treated him like he was such a nuisance.

[m/n] always wondered why she gets so mad when she's the on that asked him to tell her what the other kids quirks were when they get them. He's just doing what he was asked, so no need to get all sassy...

"There's a kid in my class that got his quirk today a-and the teacher said I would get my quirk soon too"

"Is that so?" She raised an eyebrow "what was his quirk?"

"He can make explosions from his hands..."

"Sounds interesting, so far the most promising sounding quirk from all your classmates" she thought out loud "but that doesn't matter because either way you'll work harder and become a top hero and bring fame and riches to our family name, isn't that right, [m/n]?"

"...yes, I'll definitely make you proud"

"Good boy" she went back to her reading "until then, get out of my sight" she shooed him away.

The only reason she was keeping him was so that she could use him for her own benefits. Her goal was pretty simple, get her son interested in heroes like ever other kid and make him become a hero, a top hero to be precise. And with all that money she could finally live a luxurious life that her good for nothing husband couldn't provide.

The only reason she even married him was because with her quirk and his quirk they could make a promising offspring. Her's being telekinesis and his being water manipulation, their son is bound to have an amazing quirk. Better than some kid with explosions coming from his palm.

You see, all I wanted was my mothers love, so I was dead set on becoming a top hero so that she could acknowledge me. At this young age I was very naive and thought that once I get my quirk I would be treated better by my mom and by classmates too. Now, lets fast forward to the day I actually got my quirk...

It was a normal day in [m/n]'s kindergarten, the teachers teaching them the Hiragana, how to write some kanji and such.

Finally, it was recess and just like any other day [m/n] was alone in the classroom, while the other kids were playing outside, drawing in his notebook with his new colour pencil that his mom got him.

Stuff like that happens every once in a blue moon.

Today there was a news about a new hero taking down a villain and just for fun [m/n] drew them. First the hero in one page because he thought her costume was pretty cool and now he was currently drawing the villains. He was so invested in the drawing that he didn't notice three kids walking into the class.
