{7} Plot Development

**Midoriya's POV

I woke up to the smell of alcohol and disinfected, the walls around me all painted white and I instantly knew that I was once again under the care of recovery girl. Aizawa-sensei is probably gonna yell at me again... wait...

I shot up from my bed and instantly regretted it cause I still felt the immense pain from my earlier injuries.

"Lay back down before you break another bone" Recovery girl scolded me "I still haven't treated you yet so don't get so excited"

"S-Sorry, Recovery Girl" I slowly laid back down.

After Recovery girl had healed my legs and arms and fully treated me I was able to move again but I was feeling very exhausted. A few minutes later the principal walked in with the usual smile on his face.

"Midoriya-kun!" He called out to me "I'm glad to see you're all healed up now, thank you for that Recovery girl" he showed her a thumbs up... despite having a paw. "Anyways, Midoriya-kun, would you please follow me."

The sudden change in his voice and serious look on his face was enough to get me worried and it was at the moment that everything hit, the true severity of what just happened. U.A.'s class 1-A was just attacked by villains, two pro heroes were seriously injured, and the villains had a creature that had a power almost equal to that of All Might's.

We don't know what it is, how they got it, or how many more there are. And on top of all of that, [l/n] was with them.

The moment we walked through the door I saw Kacchan leaning against the wall with his school uniform on. He had an unusually calm look on his face and said nothing, it was face he made only when deep in thought and he must have been thinking about everything that had just happened too.

I know that others might think Kacchan is very rash and quick to act but honestly out of everyone in class A Kacchan is the one that thinks the most.

Principal Nezu walks ahead and we both walk behind him silently, he reach another room and upon entering we see Aizawa-Sensei in the hospital bed, his entire face and body bandaged up. Principal Nezu turns to us and begins talking

"Midoriya-kun, Bakugou-kun, initially I wanted to have this conversation with just the two of you. however, Eraserhead requested he'd be present during this talk." He paused for a few seconds, as though he was trying to figure out what to say, then he continued "I would like to start off by apologizing, apologizing that you had to go through any of that especially at this young age. It must have been so overwhelming. We were trusted by your parents as well as yourselves to be able protect you and today we were unable to do that. We hope you still have some trust left in us and right now, more than anything we want to regain that trust. Which is why now we are trying our best to figure out how the villains were able to break into USJ completely undetected by our systems, how they knew your class would be there and how they knew which heroes would be accompanying you. Eraserhead and Thirteen both mentioned that the boy we currently have in custody seemed to have known both of you. Now I would like the two of you to tell me everything you know about that boy and what your connections are to him."

"[l/n] [m/n]..." Kacchan said in an uncharacteristically calm tone but said nothing else so I continued.

"We all went to the same school since elementary, but he disappeared second year of junior high. Everyone, including myself thought that he was dead. But when the news about those three boys found dead in an ally early this year I had a feeling that maybe he wasn't dead"

"Why did you feel that he wasn't dead?"

"...The day he disappeared he had talked to me about something..." I gulped "he asked a couple of weird questions..." I was fiddling with my fingers and kept my eyes glued to the floor "on my way back home I was wondering why he was suddenly like that but then I heard a conversation between three students from our school. They... they were bragging about how they had... done stuff to [l/n]."
