At home, seeing Ariel excitedly choosing her clothes thinking that she could meet her father soon made Amber feel even angrier at that man. He is so damn dumb sometimes!
"Mama, when can Ariel meet daddy?", that innocent bright eyes look straight at Amber. She could only sighed.
"Baby...soon... when your daddy stop being stupid...."
"Stu....pid?"
Amber could only forced out a smile.
At the office, it seems like Sehun was adamant about ignoring Amber. Whenever she sees him, he will always put on that cold expression and that look of disgust.
"Mr. Oh... you don't seem to be in good condition these days..", his secretary nervously voiced out after many days of enduring his bad mood.
Sehun mood turn even more sour.
Truth is, he's been having a hard time sleeping at night. The fact that the woman he loves is a single mom was a huge blow. It was not about her having kids but when he imagine another man had made her happy, another man had given her pleasure, he suddenly felt fire burning inside of him.
He toss and turn on his bed all night, thinking that expression she made when someone else turn her on while he only experience such euphoria when he imagine it with her doing it several years ago. So how is it possible, he could not stop thinking about her but she was already doing it with someone else!
He hates the fact that even if she don't love him as much, he still wants to keep her by his side. He still wants to bring up her child together. The only thing that was holding him back was his pride.
It's been a few days and he had been using the public elevator just to see her. Relieve his own feeling of wanting to see her and also to release the jealousy in him by hurting her. He knew he had been giving her that disdained look and the fact that she was hurt made him feel satisfied!
Who told you to leave me and find another man!
"Amber... the whole company is in a tense situation now!", Jackson pushed his seat closer to hers during lunch break and quietly whispered.
Amber look at him with a confused expression.
"Our president had been in a bad mood for a week already. I heard the proposals from the marketing team had been rejected ten times. TEN TIMES!."
Amber almost spit out her food. Ten times? What is wrong with this Oh Sehun!
"It seems like the whole marketing team had been working overtime this week and most of them is seriously considering to resign!", Jackson move even closer. This time he held Amber's hand with a pity look on his face.
This was exactly the scene that appeared right in front of Sehun the moment he stepped into the cafeteria.
"Hey look, it's the president!", one employee whispered to another.
"Quickly leave. He seem to be very angry."
"Shit. Let's eat faster!"
Sehun's secretary was standing next to him with a confused expression. She never thought he would choose to have his lunch at the company's cafeteria. He always go out of the company for lunch.
However, today when he was on his way out, he saw how that one employee slowly move his way towards Amber and even dare to lay hand on his woman!
When Amber realized Sehun staring straight at her, she quickly pulled away her hand and nervously gulped. However, her action made things even more suspicious. Sehun's face darkened immediately.
A hundred thoughts run through Sehun's mind at that time and one that was stuck was, IS HE THE FATHER OF HER CHILD?
He forcefully grabbed her by the wrists and forcefully dragged her to his office room, roughly releasing her as soon as the door closes.
She suddenly feel like laughing. It was a rare sight seeing him this angry. Back in those days, she remember her being all jealous when girls flock around him but the fact that he is jealous now made her feel like he was somewhat cute.
"Do you think this is funny?", Sehun felt like she was making fun of him. She was clearly holding back her laugh.
Amber shook her head and both her arms wrapped around his neck. She quietly tiptoed and land a soft peck on his lips.
He was clearly taken aback but his body reacted before he could think and he held her by the waist before pulling her closer to him.
They both stared at each other.
"I...", Amber shyly looked away but Sehun pulled her face to face him again.
"Are you jealous, Oh Sehun?"
"No"
"But you clearly are!"
"I. AM. NOT."
"Okay fine then I will just go to Jackson now.", Amber loosen her arms around him, but was quickly pushed towards the wall. She could feel him exerting strength on her waist.
"AMBER JOSEPHINE LIU. Are you trying to challenge me?"
"I thought you hated single mom?"
"Is he the father of your child?", Sehun didn't want to know the answer as much as he wants to know.
When this topic was brought up, Amber could feel her blood boiling.
"Stupid asshole! Ariel is 8 fcking years old!", Amber stormed out of the office after shouting at his face.
He looks as she walks away and he felt like his brain was working again.
What? Wait a minute....8 years old?
He suddenly found his smile again.
