"You're awake?"
Amber heard the familiar voice as soon as she opened up her eyes. She could not help but to reached out to her head. It was throbbing with pain.
A glass of water was presented in front of her but she did not even dare to look up but just timidly took the glass before drinking it slowly.
"Who said you could drink?"
It's starting. Gah! What should I say? Ah.... Amber's head was rolling hard to find a way out.
"I told you I have a dinner.", Amber answered with her head hung low.
"You did not say you were going to drink."
"It's a dinner...what you expect."
"..."
"And.. I'm a grown ass woman. Why can't I drink?"
"..."
"Yeah.. I'm at a legal age to drink!", Amber found her confidence.
"..."
Amber look straight into Sehun's eyes and pushed up her chin a little.
"You're acting up just because you're mad at me."
"No.. I'm not. I'm just telling you I'm an adult. I can do whatever I want!"
"Okay. Then, I'm telling you.. tonight I'll be out.. drinking with my friend."
"No. You can't drink." Amber felt her face went pale.
"Why not?"
"Because you can't!"
"I'm an adult."
"It's different."
"..."
"When you drink, there'll be weird people trying to get close to you."
"..."
"Trying to climb your bed!"
"So, when you drink there's no weird people?"
"I....", Amber was at a loss of word.
She knew she could never win him over words. She pulled the blanket over head, sulking.
Sehun felt his heart soften and was unwilling to reprimand her any longer. Sehun tugged the blanket but Amber just pulled it tighter.
"Let's eat breakfast.", Sehun tried to comfort her.
"I'm still mad at you... and mad at myself.", Amber mumbled.
Sehun quietly sat beside her and his hand went across her, pulling her closer to him. She still had the blanket over her head.
"Can you tell me now? Why were you like that, that day?", Sehun waited.
She slowly pull the blanket down to her nose but her eyes did not dare to meet his.
"I didn't know you like mango."
"..."
"And hated cakes."
"...."
"But she knows it all."
"..."
"Sehun.... should we just end...."
Her lips were shut before she could continued. Today's kiss felt like a forceful yet gentle kind. As if he was trying to affirm her that he do not mind it all.
When their lips parted, his forehead stucked on hers.
"You don't need to know all that. All that matters is that I know you have allergy to mango's skin and you loves cakes.", he said before quickly shuffling her hair and stood up.
