💙Marinette's POV💙

I don't like y/n, I mean she's nice and all...but she likes Adrien. That's my future husband! I mean...friend! And friends look out for eachother.

Chloe sneaks up behind me, "Hey Dupain-Cheng!"

"AHH!"

"Dupain-Cheng! I'm so happy to see you! For once I think we should team up."

"W-what why?"

"Didn't you hear?"

"Hear what?"

She scoffs, "Y/n is trying to steal Adrien and take him back to h/t. It's ridiculous utterly ridiculous!"

"What?!"

"I think you need the ear doctor...you've been asking 'what' too many times!"

"What are we going to do?!"

"Easy, we try to make her leave by herself!"

"Seems like the right idea..."

"So is that a yes? And hurry up, I don't have all day!"

"Y-yes I'll help!"

"Good, now let's just wait by the classroom for her."

💛Y/N POV💛

I'm tired, especially after yesterday. After I talked with my aunt, I found Adrien and I gave him a hug. I'm glad we're ok now. I trust him.

I walk to the classroom and I see Marinette and Chloe standing outside the classroom. "Oh hey guys!"

Marinette frowns and Chloe gives a disgusted look. Then Chloe says, "sooo you have to leave Paris?"

"I- where did you hear that from?"

"Adrikins told me, duh."

Adrien told Chloe? But it wasn't even 100% confirmed, "well I was hoping that-"

"That Adrien would go with you? Yeah I know. I know everything!"

I give her a perplexed look, "excuse me?"

"Y/n..." Oh no Marinette too? "Adrien can't go with you! Just leave by yourself! No one wants you here!"

I was completely lost at words. How could she say that? "But...I thought we were friends..." I stop because I see Adrien standing behind them.

Marinette gets closer and points at me, "NO! You CANNOT call me your FRIEND AFTER WHAT YOU'RE DOING!"

Adrien gives a disappointed look, "Marinette?"

She turns around, her eyes went big, "A-adrien?" She looks at me then Chloe and realizes what he saw. "Oh- Adrien this is a misunderstanding-"

"Stop...just stop...what did y/n ever do to you?"

"C-chloe said-"

"Chloe? Since when did you believe what Chloe says?"

"Look Chloe is mean sometimes but she doesn't lie!"

Chloe and I just watch them. I felt bad in a way, but then again Marinette had no right to say those things based off nothing.

Chloe steps between them and hugs Adrien, "oh I'm sorry adrikinsss! We were just protecting you from y/n! We won't let her take you!"

He rolls his eyes, "what are you talking about Chloe? She isn't taking me anywhere!"

She lets go of him and looks at Marinette. There was a silence until Lila came. Oh this can't be good.

"Oh my gosh, it's ok Chloe! I got your back! I will tell the truth for once..."

Adrien is even more confused, "what?"

Lila lets out a sigh, "Marinette...put into Chloe's head that y/n was going to take you back to h/t! It was terrible! She even made a plan to get y/n to leave! You might ask why? Well..." She closes her eyes and looks down.

"Well what Lila?" Adrien seems upset now...

"Well it's because Marinette is in love with you! She was being obsessed again. And took it to far, she was willing to hurt y/n and get Chloe on her side!"

Adrien looks at Marinette in disbelief. There's that familiar look again... "Marinette is this true-?"

"NO! Chloe was the one that told me!"

Chloe steps in front of Marinette, "not true! This is ridiculous utterly ridiculous! Adrien who are you going to believe? One girl who seems innocent but let's be honest she has a temper...or two girls who wouldn't lie to you because we adore you."

Adrien thinks for a second and looks at me, "who do you think is right, y/n?"

"I- uh..."

Lila whips her hair in my face, "obviously that means we're right and Marinette isn't." She looks Marinette up and down, then grabs Chloe's hand. "Let's go Queen Bee."

They went inside the classroom. I follow them in and Adrien follows me.

In the middle of class I overhear Lila whispering to the people around her, Juleka, Rose, Alix and Max. I didn't hear what she said but it must've been something bad. They all start to give Marinette a glare while Lila just sits back and smiles.

I turn to Alya, "um Alya?"

She looks up to face me and gives a look. She looks back down and does her work. What's her issue? What did I do?

"Hey Alya..."

"What the fuck do you want y/n? I'm trying to focus on my school work."

"Since when do you try to focus on school work in class?"

"Since you tried to steal Marinette's crush...girl haven't you ever heard of girls code?"

"Well yeah but-"

"But nothing."

"You know what? Can you just please stop talking when I'm talking. Everyone keeps cutting me off and I'm TIRED!"

"Chill, you don't need to show you have rage issues too..."

"I didn't try to steal her damn crush! If he likes me, that's not my fault! It's not MY fault if he doesn't like her BACK."

Alya shakes her head and laughs a little, "It's your fault for even going near him. And now because of you, there's gossip and lies about Marinette."

💚Adrien's POV💚

I sit in my seat and try to focus. But all around me I hear whispering. Y/n turns to Alya and they start talking. I don't know what to think. There's things being said about both Marinette and y/n.

Marinette was a very good friend. But through this past week, I felt closer to y/n. I don't know if it's because we live in the same house or because we just talk more. I mean Marinette barley talks to me, so do I even know her well enough to trust her completely?

Marinette looks mad, she's been glaring at Lila and Chloe for the whole class period. I shake my head.

{At home}

I flop on my bed and give out a heavy sigh. I'm honestly stuck. Maybe I'll see y/n but as Cat Noir...yea!
