💚Adrien's POV💚

I decide to ignore everything that's happened. I just need to focus on school...hawkmoth...and protecting y/n...

I grab my pen then I hear Plagg, "Tikki? Sugarcube what's wrong?"

I turn around and I see Ladybug's kwami crying. Plagg gives her a hug. Then I look closer and I see her holding Ladybug's miraculous. "Uh why did you bring her miraculous..."

She sniffles, "it's about time you know who Ladybug was."

"Was? What is going on? I thought our identities were suppose to remain a secret..."

Tikki squeezes her eyes shut, "WELL THAT DOESN'T MATTER NOW SINCE SHE'S DEAD!"

I gasp, "w-what?"

"It's partially your fault Adrien! Why didn't you stick up for her in class! You usually do! What changed?"

"What do you mean...she's in my class?"

Plagg looks at me like I'm stupid, "well not anymore."

Tikki gives me the miraculous, "you need to find a new Ladybug...Hawkmoth is ready for the final battle in 2 days."

"How do you know-"

"Because Marinette got akumintized and he told her."

"Why would he tell her?"

"Because she was Ladybug..."

I fall to the ground...my friend was ladybug...and now she's dead...I start to feel tears running down my cheeks.

"I think...you should give it to y/n."

I look at Tikki, "but I don't think Marinette would-"

"Would like that? Yeah she wouldn't be happy it's her but she's the only one fit to do it. And Marinette would look after the people of Paris first before her own feelings."

I look down at the earrings in my hand...wow the camouflage form does look like the ones Marinette wore. How did I not recognise the miraculous?

I walk out of my room, Tikki follows me. I open y/n door. She jumps back in her chair, "uh Adrien?"

I walk up to her and show her the miraculous in my hand. She stares at it, "are you ladybug? I thought she was a female..." she starts to laugh a little.

"This isn't a joke, Ladybug died, we need a new Ladybug..."

"How do you know anything about Ladybug?" Then I saw the realization hit her. "You're Cat Noir?" She stares at me.

"Yeah and now you need to be Ladybug."

"Wait but I- I can't be Ladybug!"

"What why?"

Tikki flies out from behind me, "no please we need a new Ladybug."

"But I'm Panda Roux..."

I fall onto the bed, I just sat there. She's Panda Roux? Damn ok.

"This situation smells like stinky cheese," Plagg flies off and grabs a piece of Camembert.
