𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑆𝑖𝑥𝑡𝑒𝑒𝑛

Eliza got up shortly after Peggy had walked in, letting Maria stay in her room while she went off to go find her younger sister. She walked into the living room, only to find Angelica pinning Peggy to the carpet and messing up her hair.

"Angie! Let me go!!"

"Nope, not until you tell Theo that you're sorry."

"OK OK, fine. I'm sorry I called your girlfriend a bottom!"

Upon hearing that, Eliza started laughing, making her sisters turn to face her. Angelica quickly motioned for her to come over, still keeping Peggy on the ground.
"I heard you walked in on 'Liza, if you don't say sorry to Theo I'm gonna make you watch Maria and Eliza flirt."

Fake gagging Peggy quickly hit her hand on the ground, telling Angelica that she would tell Theo sorry. As soon as Angelica let Peggy off the ground, the youngest Schuyler ran up the stairs in search of Angelica's girlfriend.

Laughing softly at her younger sister, Eliza then turned to Angelica.
"Um... h-how did you know she walked in on me and Maria..?"

Angelica laughed before answering her sister's question.
"I heard her yell~"

Blushing, Eliza nodded slightly before turning around and slowly heading back to her room. When she opened the door, she saw that Maria had already gone back to sleep.

Sighing softly, Eliza already knew she wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep. She was so used to getting up early that once she had woken up she rarely ever went back to sleep.

So, Eliza walked into her bathroom, starting the shower before stepping under the hot water. She shivered slightly, closing her eyes as she relaxed under the water. Immersed in her own thoughts, Eliza hadn't heard Maria walk into the bathroom. She jumped when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist from behind, only to relax when she figured out it was Maria.

"Morning Lizzie~"

Smiling softly, Eliza leaned back on Maria.
"Good morning~"

Maria smiled, running her fingers through Eliza's wet hair. Eliza closed her eyes, loving the feeling of the hot water and Maria's hands in her hair. She giggled softly when Maria kissed her cheek, before turning around and hugging the older girl.

Maria chuckled softly, turning Eliza so that her hair was by the water. She then washed the girls hair gently, and once she was done she laughed when Eliza whined about having to get out of the shower.
"Come on, if we stay in here any longer your sisters are gonna think something happened."

Eliza blushed, hiding her face in the crook of Maria's neck as Maria turned the shower off. Once they had gotten out, she wrapped a towel around herself, and then one around Eliza. She dried the younger girls hair before braiding it gently, and then left the bathroom to go get ready. 

Eliza smiled as she watched Maria walk out of the bathroom, falling back into her own thoughts as she got ready. She didn't know how she had gotten so lucky with the girl, but she was glad that Maria had come into her life.
