Rumpelstiltskin let Abby go to town with Belle and Abby explained her story but she told belle not to tell Rumpelstiltskin that she knew, the queen's carridge came up the road and The queen didn't know about Abby so Abby took a shortcut back to the castle.
Belle let it slip to Rumpelstiltskin that Abby told her and He locked her in the tower.
