I don't why but memories swirled around in my head, of my first day with Rumpelstiltskin. I sat at Granny's just doodleing on a napkin, not realizing what I was drawing until it was finished. My eyes widened as I saw Rumpelstiltskin's face, I crumbled up the napkin and put it in my pocket as Emma sat down." hi, Rose" I gave a fake smile.

"Hey....Emma" I mumbled and she frowned" you OK, you seem kinda nervous or something"

" its nothing" I told her and she nodded.

" well, I better go" I mumbled be before leaving Granny's as fast as I could. I almost knocked Ruby over on the way out. I climbed on my motorcycle and drove it home.

Abigail sat in the corner of the empty room tears in her eyes as she cried. The door creaked open the strange man who took her stepped in with a frown." Stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about" he started to reach for her but she moved away making him frown." Its all right, I'm not going to hurt you, as long as you do as I say, understand" he asked and she nodded.

"Good now, why don't we start with your name, deary" he asked.

" Abigail....Abigail Quincy, but my mum and papa call me Abby" she squeaked and he smiled" my name is Rumpelstiltskin " he told her.

" when can I go home" she asked and he frowned" this is your home" tears filled her eyes again and she started crying again making him frown.

" now what did I tell you about that crying" he asked and she wiped her tears away" I'm sorry" she mumbled and he sighed" you have nothing to be sorry for, your parents are the ones who should be sorry, they traded away your life for something that couldn't be fixed or helped"

" you mean my curse" she mumbled and he shook his head" that is no curse, Little Abigail, your lucky, you want to know why?"

" why?" She asked curiously

" because you can give life, make things brighter and healthier" he told her making her eyes widened." I want to show you something" he held out his hand and she took it.

I sat sipping punch as Gold walked over." You seem quite then you usually are, Rose" he pointed out and I shrugged." Just lost in thought today" I mumbled.

" Rose" Henry called out waving me over and I went over to him.

" we need you to do something" August asked and I frowned" does this have something to do with a certain operation cobra" I asked raising an eyebrow and they shrugged." What do you need"

" we need you to get something from Gold's shop" Henry asked and my eyes widened before I mumbled" are you crazy, he'll kill me if I take anything from that shop"

" we know but you can't be killed, Rose" August pointed out with a smirk and I glared before smirking, taking the rest of my punch and dumping it on his head, making everyone gasp. I could hear some people trying not to laugh as I stormed out of the apartment with the slam of a door.

She followed Rumpelstiltskin outside and into the garden. What she saw made her frown sadly." It looks so sad" she said looking around and he nodded." But you can give it life, Abigail" he told her before leading her over to a tree." Just touch the tree, Little Abigail" she did as she was told and the leaves sprouted, big beautiful red apples grew and she smiled.

" see Abigail, your gift can make the world brighter, if you believe you can" she hugged him, making him stiffen with with a frown, before hugging the little girl back." Thank you, Rumple" she mumbled and he gave her a confused look.

" Rumple?" He asked and she smiled" I can't pronounce your name, so that's what I'll call you instead, is that okay?" he thought about it before nodding.

" as long as I can call you, Abby"

" OK" she agreed before they went back inside.

I took the long way through the woods and when I got home, Gold was already back so I went inside. He was standing in the living room lost in thought, when I closed the door he looked up." Abby, I need to ask you something about that man you dumped punch on at MaryMargaret's party, who was he"

" why do you want to know" I asked confused and he smiled" I'm just curious about him"

" his names August, he's annoying ,that's all I know about him" I lied and went to walk upstairs when he stopped me." Your lieing Abigail, what do you know"

" nothing" I mumbled and he glared walking over to me" does he know who you are, Abigail"

" no" I lied before running out the door, I climbed on my motorcyle and drove off, him yelling at me to come back.
