Insults

Silas Rhys Enzo's Point of View

I was happy when Evie told me that she's pregnant with my child. A contentment spread through my body knowing that I will become a Father soon. It made me to study harder so that my child will have a good future. I promised myself that I will study hard, for them and for my future. They're my inspiration now. I don't want them to starve with me.

When my Papa and Evie's parents visited us, I felt a bit scared that time. They're so scary when they're mad. Pero kahit gano'n ay nagpapasalamat ako dahil hindi umabot sa sampalan ang usapan. Wala akong nagawa kung hindi ang yakapin lang si Evie para malaman niya na nandito lang ako at hindi ko siya iiwan.

I love her so much. I know that they're many ladies that had a same age as mine but I didn't get attracted to them, only to Evie. Sa kaniya ko lang naramdaman ang ganito. Masaya ako dahil mahal din ako ni Evie. That's enough for me, though.

When they left, Papa immediately asked Evie if what are her plans. Then she replied that she want to run away from here and I decided to come with her. I won't let her to go alone.

Good thing I was able to catch her when she was about to fall in the ground. When I noticed that he fainted, I gently carry her and go upstairs. Tinungo ko ang kwarto ko at binuksan iyon. I then closed the door. Dahan-dahan kong ihiniga si Evie sa kama ko at kinumutan ko siya.

Hinaplos ko ang buhok niya at hinalikan siya sa noo. I sighed because I know that she fainted of too much crying. Dahan-dahan akong umupo sa tabi niya at pinagmasdan ang maamo niyang mukha. That face made me fall for her.

Saglit kong inalis ang tingin ko kay Evie nang tumunog ang phone ko. Kinuha ko ito mula sa bulsa ko at tiningnan ko kung sino ang nag-text. It's Papa, he sent me a text saying that he will meet Lolo. I just replied 'okay' to him.

Naisipan ko rin na tawagan si Tita Tasia tungkol sa lagay ni Evie at sinabi niya sa akin na papunta na raw siya. I then close my phone. I was thankful because Papa didn't get mad at me. Hindi nagtagal ay may kumatok sa pinto ko.

"Sir, nandito na po si Ma'am Tasia," Ate Kinsy spoke from outside. Tumayo ako at inayos ang sarili.

"Sige po, Ate. Papasukin niyo na po siya," I acknowledge. Kalauna'y nagbukas ang pinto ko at pumasok doon si Tita Tasia. Sinara na niya rin ang pinto at kaagad na lumapit sa amin.

"Hi Rhys," bati niya nang nakangiti. Ngumiti lang din ako sa kaniya at binati. Pinapanood ko siya habang inaasikaso si Evie na hindi pa rin gising sa ngayon. Hindi nagtagal ay hinarap ako ni Tita Tasia.

"There's nothing to worry about, Rhys. They're both safe and Evie is just tired," she explained that made me nodded. Napatingin ako kay Evie, mabuti naman at hindi malala ang lagay niya. Binalik ko ang tingin ko kay Tita Tasia.

"Sige po, salamat Tita," nakangiti kong ani na ikinatango niya lang. Nagpaalam siya saglit nang tumunog ang phone niya. Pagkalabas niya ay umupo ako ulit sa tabi ni Evie. I then held her hand. Umalerto ako nang gumalaw siya at nagmulat ng mga mata. Maya-maya ay napadako ang tingin niya sa akin.

I'm glad that she's awake. I helped her to sat on the bed. I then asked her if she needs something and how she feels. When she shook her head, I just nodded at her. Maya-maya ay pumasok ulit si Tita Tasia at kaagad silang nag-usap ni Evie. She told Tita Tasia about her plans and Tita is just okay with it.

Her phone rang again and she's a bit uneasy that's why she bid her goodbyes to us. Nang kami na lang dalawa ni Evie ay nagtinginan kami.

"Let me come with you, my lady. I won't let you go alone," I spoke immediately. Her mouth curved into a smile and held my hand.
