Hearing those words broke my heart into pieces. Because of me, Rhys' life ruined and I don't like that thoughts. Hindi ko maiwasan ang hindi humikbi habang nakatitig kay Rhys na kinakausap ni Madam Degracia.

I felt a hand touch my left shoulder.

"Let's go, Evie," Tasia then spoke and escorted me to enter the SUV. We entered and closed the door. Pinaandar naman ni Suzy ang SUV at umalis na sa tapat ng Hearthstone Academy. Dahil sa nasaksihan ko kanina ay hindi ko maiwasan isipin na dahil sa akin ay masisira ang pag-aaral niya. No university will accept him if his record is that bad.

I don't want that to happen. He must finish his studies for his future. Hindi nagtagal ay huminto ang SUV at napatingin ako sa labas. We're here at Haven's condo. Tasia opened the door and we came out. Nang makapasok kami sa condo ni Haven at pinaupo nila ako sa sofa. Nagsalin si Haven ng malamig na tubig sa baso at inabot iyon sa akin.

"You need to calm, Evie. You're pregnant," paalala sa akin ni Tasia na ikinabaling ko sa kaniya. Tumango ako at ngumiti sa kaniya bago ininom ang tubig. Maya-maya ay umupo si Haven sa katapat ng inuupuan namin.

Nang maubos ko ang laman ng baso ay nilapag ko ito sa centre table. Kinuha ni Tasia ang pulsuhan ko at hinayaan ko lang siya. Nang masiguro niya na ayos lang ako ay binitawan na niya ito. Kapagkuwa'y nagsalita ako.

"R-Rhys studies might ruin because of me," I started and I just saw them intently listening to me. I sighed and thinking a way on how to avoid it.

"Don't say that, Evie. Don't mind what Madam Degracia have just said. I'm sure, hindi papayag si Rhys na ma-drop out siya or what. You need to trust him, Evie," pangaral sa akin ni Suzy. Tama siya, I need to trust Rhys. He told me that no matter what happens, he will study hard and finish his studies.

Pero hindi pa rin ako mapakali. Baka maapektuhan ang pag-aaral ni Rhys kapag nakaririnig siya ng mga insulto. He might lost his focused on his studies because based on what I saw earlier, he's gone mad every time a person were talking ill about me and I don't want to happen that again.

I don't want Rhys to experience that. He had a bright future ahead and I might ruin that bright future," I spoke in controlled voice and pleasant to listen to.

Valerie sighed and started to caress my back.

"Calm down, Evie," pag-aalala ni Valerie sa akin na ikinatango ko lang. Huminga ako ng malalim at kinalma ang sarili ko.

"What is your plan then, Evie?" Lia interrogated. Napatingin ako sa kaniya. She's leaning on the sofa. I'm thinking of leaving Rhys.

T-That is the only way I know. If the people will knew that Rhys and I broke up then it may calm the issue and it won't be back to the way it used to be but it can help Rhys focused on his studies.

"No way, are you not going to do that, aren't you?" Nalipat ang tingin ko kay Haven nang nalaman njya siguro ang pinapahiwatig ko. She folded her arms and cocked her and head. I just sighed and nodded at her that made him gasped. Nagtaka naman ang mga kaibigan ko.

"Are you going to abort the child so that Rhys can leave you?!" Her voice went high-pitched and her eyes dilated. I gave her a bitter laugh that made her forehead creased. Marahas akong bumuntong-hininga, akala ko pa naman ay nakuha niya ang gusto kong ipahiwatig. Napailing ako sa kaniya.
