"J-Junghoon?"
The cashier's smirk widened. "I almost thought you forgot me, love."
Chan flushed with anger. "Don't call me that."
"But you like it when I call you love."
"That was in the past when I was stupid enough to fall for someone like you."
Junghoon smirked again. "You know you still love me."
"Fuck you."
Junghoon made an annoying cooing sound. "Still feisty." He slightly leaned to look around Chan. He smiled and spoke to him, eyes still focused on the group of friends sitting in the café, "Aw, you even brought the cutie."
Chan stepped aside to block his friends from Junghoon's line of sight. "Don't you even fucking think about it."
Junghoon looked at Chan with a surprised face. "Since when did you start swearing so much, love?"
"I said, don't call me that, you asshole."
Behind the two, the group was chatting away happily, unaware of what was going on. Except for Minho. He was the only one who noticed the way Chan's relaxed figure had suddenly turned alert and tense. He saw how Chan had shifted to block the cashier's vision when he looked at their group. Confused, he nudged Jisung, who was sitting right beside him, making him look at him questioningly.
"Chan hyung looks mad. Any idea why?"
Jisung frowned and turned to look at Chan. His expression immediately went from confusion to anger and fear. He whipped back towards Minho and said in a voice loud enough for everyone seated around the table to hear, "Junghoon! That...that's Junghoon!"
A quiet gasp escaped everyone except Taehyun. He looked around confused. "Jung who?"
"Babe, I'll explain later."
Before anyone could say or do anything, Minho got up and walked to their oldest friend, the rest watching in silence.
"Love, come on, I know you still feel something for me."
"Don't call me that, and no, I don't feel anything for you."
"Love-"
"He said don't call him that."
A voice came from beside Chan and he felt an arm fall across his shoulder. He turned his head to find Minho standing beside him. Seeing the younger made Chan feel a bit relieved.
Junghoon frowned up at the taller brunette. "And who are you?"
"I'm Chan hyung's boyfriend."
Chan stifled a laugh.
Junghoon looked at Chan with raised eyebrows. "I didn't know you had a thing for boys younger than you, love."
Chan's amusement dissipated. "You probably also don't know that I will not hesitate to punch you if you call me that again," he growled.
As Chan glared at the smirking boy in front, Minho cleared his throat. "Now, how about we handle this in a civilized manner," he turned to face the cashier. "Junghoon, is it? Yeah, I think it would be better if you take our order and just get on with it before you end up getting on my wrong side."
Junghoon looked at Minho with a bored expression. "What?"
"National level boxer and mixed martial artist, baby. You and me, 1v1. Let's go bitch."
The thin boy visibly paled. He finally let out a breath of annoyance and scowled. "What may I get for you?"
Chan almost laughed again before ordering what he wanted. When Junghoon turned around to prepare their order, Chan turned to Minho with an exaggerated pout and spoke loud enough for the cashier to hear, "Baby, I forgot my wallet with Ryu, you mind staying here while I go get it?"
