The call connected in time for them to hear a gruff voice say, "-will do as I tell you, or else..."

Hyunjin's breath slightly hitched. The owner of the voice wasn't visible, but a familiar blonde haired girl was on the screen, her wrists and ankles tied to the chair she was seated on. It was dark except for one light bulb hanging right above her, illuminating her face. Not a single ounce of fear was visible in her expression, instead, she almost looked bored.

"Ohhh my goodd, I'm sOoOo scared, aaaaah, when will my prince charming save meeee."

Hyunjin grinned. He had a feeling that she would've dramatically raised her hand to her head if they weren't tied up.

They heard some shuffling on the other side, and Yeji stiffened. Something beside her neck glinted under the bulb light. Hyunjin's grin disappeared. They were holding up a weapon to his sister's head.

The gruff voice spoke again. "Playing smart now, are we? I would suggest you don't."

Hyunjin gripped his phone so hard that Jisung was afraid it would crack. "If you do anything to her, I will end you."

The man simply chortled and the call ended. Everyone stepped back from Hyunjin, who was still staring at his now blank screen.

After a few moments of silence, Changbin spoke, "Okay, so clearly, that's a very stupid and inexperienced kidnapper 'cause not only did he not throw her phone away, he also contacted the very people who aren't supposed to find him."

Chan nodded. "Yeah, and now we can reach Yeji even faster." He clapped a hand onto one of Hyunjin's sagging shoulders. "Don't worry, we will find her now."

He looked up and silently nodded at Minho and Changbin. The two understood and pulled the rest of them out to their car. Chan gently tugged at Hyunjin's arm to get him to stand up and followed the others, locking his apartment behind him.

After being seated in their car, Ryujin opened up Snap Map and sighed in relief when Yeji's Bitmoji popped up on it. She handed the phone to Minho in the front and he began directing the eldest who drove them.

Five minutes later, they were zooming down the surprisingly pretty empty roads, headed to help their friend in trouble.

"Changbin, Felix, go check around the ground floor. Beomgyu and Taehyun, upstairs. Minho and Jisung, go inside and if there's a basement, check in there. Jeongin, Seungmin and Ryujin are staying back with Lia in the car. Hyunjin, you are coming with me. Try not to make any noise. I'm trusting you guys 'cause I know you can fight if needed. Keep your phones on silent and keep the rest updated in the group chat."

The group of eleven had stopped in front of an abandoned two - story - warehouse, just like in the movies. Yeji's Bitmoji on the Snap Map was currently seated in a blue armchair, snoozing peacefully.

"I don't understand," Seungmin said. "Why can't we just call the police and let them handle this? I mean, we will have to call them anyway."

Chan turned to the taller. "I know. But if the police arrives, they will do so with their sirens blaring, literally. During the video call, we could see that guy had a weapon, probably a knife. There's a possibility that the sirens will alert the guy, and he may end up hurting Yeji. We don't want that to happen, right? So don't worry, we will call the police, once we're sure that Yeji won't be harmed." Seungmin nodded in understanding and leaned against the car.

"But how do you expect us to fight?" Minho asked the elder.

"I know that you, Felix, Hyunjin and Jisung are pretty good at martial arts, you'll be able to defend yourselves."
