A Stranger

I couldn't sleep at night thinking about Lucy's letter and the person who is gonna come after me and also the noise of the sirens of the cops outside our apartment. The officer asked few of his mates to stand watch incase the killer comes to get me. I kept crawling in my bed all night looking at the night stars on my ceiling and thinking about my family and friends back home and their reactions when they find out a killer or a gang is after me for God knows why. Luckily the cops outside gave me a silent mind and I could take a nap for the night since I have class the next day. I woke up the next day as if I had snuck my head into a dirt pot but I had to wash up to go to college. Sherene woke up early and made breakfast seeing my worried face she looked at me said "No one is gonna take you", Well it kinda made me feel better. So after breakfast we left for college and the cop downstair said " I'll leave you ladies to college, call me up if anything comes", he left after giving us his number. Our college is just a street away so we walked our path. I personally was very scared if someone is gonna come after me in the broad day light but I didn't show out my fear. Our professor always tell us that "You're fear is the enemy's biggest weapon" so I kept a low inner fear and reached college. 

Sherene and I always sit in the second row. Kev noticed something was wrong with me it's like he can read my face, so did Abby it's like their aliens with secret powers yet they are not  but they do have a twin connection, after all they are twins and also our best friends. Kev went out and grabbed me a chocolate shake cause it always work on me like a truth serum. I told them both everything that happened and Sherene from the side comforted me telling "We will protect you". I laughed it looked like she was a hero from a ninety's movie. Our first class began, our professor started the class on the topic "Revenge of the enemy". I thought maybe the killer is after me for a revenge but I don't recall doing anything bad to anyone, so I just payed attention to class and took down notes from his class. Class was over. We went over for lunch to the cafeteria and all of us sat down to eat our food, but I couldn't eat my food I had a strange feeling that someone was watching so I looked around and my eyes caught a guy near the glass door. I knew that guy he was the same person who was at Lucy's. I could recognize him by his mask and eyes. I stood up and ran after him but he started running I was close to catching him, he ran into the parking lot and I followed him so did my friends. 

I saw him running he was fast but I managed to catch up he than ran into a construction site but my friends couldn't keep up but I didn't give up. I need to catch him and find him, ask him why he is after me or who is ? I followed him to the site we were on the top floor he stood there and smiled at me and said "Hey". It was complete British accent I ignored that though and started asking him questions "Why did you kill Lucy?, Why are you after me?, Why are you following me?" I asked him these questions. But all he did was toss me a scroll and jumped off from the building. Did he just commit suicide? I thought to myself self and ran screaming "JESUS CHRIST" to the edge and what a relief he used zip line to get off. I don't know why, but I felt a relief that he was safe. He reached the ground and screamed "Bye" and disappeared in a flash. I opened up the scroll and saw that it was a map but where was it leading to too, I wanted to find out so badly. So I returned back walking down stairs and my friends reached in a car. Kev drove it back and they rushed to me and asked If I was ok but all I could think of was what this map is about so I just nodded my head in reply. We got in the car and was leaving the site and suddenly Kev stopped near a wall and kept staring it with his mouth wide open. "What are you looking at?"Sherene asked but he didn't reply . "Are you gonna tell something to us?" Abby asked no reply either. I got off from the car and went to the direction he placed his eyes at. I myself looked at it and tears filled my eyes. It was not sadness that filled my eyes but fear. There was a message on the wall. My friends got off from the car and came to me and  all of them were shocked. 

I couldn't think if it was written in paint or blood cause it was in red color. Kev read out the message loud and clear-

" You are being watched, all of you guys are being watched..stay close - E.M" 

Again...who is watching us?
