Marriage

I could feel the air tense and I wished so hard that I could stay inside an igloo for a moment. Everyone's eyes were upon me even my friends. I knew my new family was hiding something from me, I wanted them to tell me that, I myself did hide something but it can't be this important as of now. I looked at Harry hoping I would get some answers, he lowered his eyes and denied to look at mine. I turned my gaze to Dylan, Idk why I did, but I hoped I could hear something as well from him. But what did I expect, unlike Harry he just stared at me and didn't reply to anything. I looked around everyone and I couldn't take it anymore. 

"Can someone tell WHAT THE HELL is happening here? I thought Eva was missing or was on a run from some stupid guy. But she is right here in front of me, is it just me seeing her and everyone else. Someone answer me please" Now I was literally begging them, I felt like my head was about to blast. 

"Sorry" A soft voice broke the entire silence. I turned around to see Eva finally speak. I just looked at her so she could speak more. 

"I know it's hard for you, but this is the safest place I and my baby can be, no one knows of it even my parents" She started by looking on the ground. 

Baby, her baby, she's married?

"I need an explanation of what is exactly happening, someone" I was so angry I could break someone's bones. Kev however knew me getting angry patted on my shoulder to calm down, I just did, but really I was burning like a volcano. 

"Err...Our grandfather made a deal with the Spanish mafia when he was the capo, they are also one of the powerful ones in the mafia but this deal was a secret between our grandpa and James king the old capo of the Spanish community. Even our father didn't know about it, but now that the present capo Colton knows about this deal, he wants to fulfill it. However, both our families have not been in a good situation ever since our Grandpa passed away and we don't want the deal to take place. We talked to Colton but he either wants the deal to be done or the person dies" Harry ended. I could scream I couldn't understand the concept but someone about a deal. I looked still confused at Harry and Eva.

"The girl of the family should marry one of the sons of the Kings' family" Dylan just cleared my doubt. I made my mouth in an 'O' shape.

" Eva was the first girl of the family and then a few months later you were born. But, Eva got pregnant and has Angel her daughter. Colton had his informer get him the information. So, he finally decided to let go of the deal, telling him he wouldn't let his son get married to someone who already has a child. We were very glad until we received this letter from him 4 months back" Harry handed a letter looking with disbelief. 

" A pleasant greetings from The kings. I take this as a good sign from God and let's continue our deal made by our previous Capos. You may wonder that you first girl in the family already has a baby and that we canceled our deal. But, I heard you have another girl who looks exactly like the first one. I suppose her name is Evelin. She is indeed pretty. From the time I heard of her existence, I made sure to have my man watch her moves. I am guessing when the Ebenezer family is planning on visiting Spain to have a beautiful wedding. - Colton King"

I looked at this tiny bit of stupid paper and cursing my grandpa was his annoying action. My friends looked at me worried. I couldn't do anything but I knew I could protect my family at all costs. I was about to talk when my phone rang with a dialler name 'Jack'. Jack is our closest friend and somewhat like our manager also. I picked up his call and exited the hall of danger. 

Evy: What's up Jake? 

Jake: Babygirl! Guess what Carlos is dead. 

Evy: What the hell? how? murder or suicide ? who?
