Hidden Truth

Everyone's staring got intense and I could feel the atmosphere burning up. I looked around and saw my friends mumbling and cursing me under their breath. My brother, Andrew, and Edward were looking at me all confused as if I had an octopus stuck on my face. Wait, did I just call him my brother, oh whatever, good thing he didn't hear me. I wanted to change the atmosphere, so I looked over Kev and saw poor Sherene moaning in pain. "We have to take her to the hospital," I said looking at Harry's face. They all nodded and we took off in our cars. Thankfully, I was with my friends in the car which Stephan was driving. The other 3 guys drove off in Harry's vehicle. Abby kept looking at my face throughout the time we started driving, I knew she wanted to talk but not in front of Stephan. After like 5 minutes we arrived at a hospital, it was tall and a broad building. Harry's car was already there waiting for us. We all got off and a few medical staff came down in a stretcher to get Sherene. "I already registered her, don't worry, she's gonna be fine" Harry patted my shoulders in order to comfort me. I looked at him and gave a smile. 

"Stephan, I need the car keys, please"I walked over to him raising my hands to get the keys.

"Where are you going?" Harry interfered. God, I hate people who come in between conversations. 

"I need to get some fresh air along with my friends, I hope you can keep an eye on Sherene for us". I completed my sentence. 

"But, you can't go alone, let Stephan take you there" Andrew volunteered to speak up.

"It's fine, I can drive, let Stephan also be here with you guys"

"But..Sorella.."Harry started I cut him off and took the keys from Stephan's hand and started moving towards the car. Abby and Kevin followed me to the car. We all got in, I was gonna drive. I noticed Harry's face fall down to the ground in worry. I lowered my window " I will be fine, don't worry" I told him with a smile and took off a full speed. 

"WTF, did you really do out there" Kev screamed from behind me. 

"For God sake I am driving Kev, don't scream" 

"Don't scream I could shoot you right now" 

I just left a breathe and looked to my left to see Abby looking at the rear view without a single word. I stopped at a park which was big and had a lot of people doing various things. We remained in the car and opened our upper shelter to see the stars. 

"I'm sorry guys," I told looking my seat not ready to face them both. 

"Sorry, really, you're brother now suspects us more than which Edward is looking at us with his agent's eyes" but he was cut off "Shut up Kevin" Abby roared. 

"Evy, darling, it's ok I...We know you didn't do it on purpose, but next time make sure to be careful, among all of us it's your life that's gonna be in danger the most". I looked all sorry but she kept a hand on my shoulder " But, we are here for you" She smiled. I am the youngest among all my friends, they are a few months elder than me, yet treat me like a baby. Abby is more like the mother figure here. We all did a group hug after that emotional scene we just faced. 

I looked up at the sky and saw the stars when I was interrupted by Kev " that was a pretty good act you did there, knowing all the truth, yet act like you have no idea" I gave him an evil smile. All of us have a watch with a microphone and location shared with each other, so they heard the conversation between me and Harry had at the Park. But unfortunately, when that Jacob idiot kidnapped me, my watch fell off and I lost connection with my friends. 

TBH, I knew from the start, that I was being followed and my family is in the mafia and blah blah, but I had to hide all our identity , it's too dangerous for us and everyone around us, to which I had to pretend like I heard the word mafia for the first time. 

Yep, our identities are important, we four are the most deadliest assassins in the underground world, with that thought in my head, I doozed off to my dream land.
