When Alex woke up and saw daylight she immediately groaned, turning over in bed.

Her eyes stayed shut but the edges of sleep fell away and she became more aware of her surroundings.

And the fact that she was still in her clothes from the previous evening.

One eye opened, looking down at the tousled white sheets and her red dress.

Tyler's gift.

Alex groaned a little sitting up, hugging the front of the dress to her chest, which also managed to twist during the night.

A new day and a wide view of the city greeted her outside the large window.

Not far from it was her suitcase, open and ready to be packed.

Alex literally had to pull herself together to get out of the bed.

In the shower she regrouped.

Standing under the water spray, she let it completely drench her body.

It was one night.

She could still walk away from all this.

It wasn't like she could still feel his touch between her legs.

Or his head.

Water ran in her mouth when her lips parted to exhale.

Shit was it morning?

Tyler's eyes squinted against the sunlight.

Might not have been smart raiding the mini bar before he went to bed.

But he needed something to knock the edge off.

And god damn he had an edge.

The combo of celibacy and giving oral sex without getting anything back was just wrong.

He looked down to see his erection barely covered by the sheet. It was a fact he wasn't going to be able to hold out much longer.

But when he finally had released again it was going to be deep inside Alex Reed.

After a pretty cold shower he got dressed in clothes he was used to, jeans and a plain white t-shirt. Then barefoot he left his room.

First thing he noticed was her suitcase next to the cream couch.

The woman herself was in a pantsuit with her back to him, staring out the window.

"You sleep alright?" he asked, joining her by the window.

The glasses were back.

She was scanning the city below them. "Tell me what you know about my ex."

He'd planned to ask her about that suitcase. "This how you wanna start the mornin'?"

An ill timed knock came to the door and Tyler answered it.

It was a waiter with a large rolling cart. "Good morning sir. This was sent with compliments from Mr. Cattaneo."

Breakfast? Not that ill timed then.

Tyler gestured for the man to come in.

He seemed to be ready to serve them but Tyler quickly reached for his wallet. "We can take care of that part, thanks."

"Of course sir, thank you." The waiter accepted the bill. " Enjoy your morning." He offered a quick nod to Alex, who was still at the window before leaving.
