Shaak Ti's POV

I had woken up that morning with a calm mind. That went to hell fast. 

As soon as I stepped foot outside her small quarters, I was nearly trampled by a group of young cadets. " General Skywalker and Kenobi are here!," they all buzzed, clearly excited to have been given the task to fetch me. I smiled gently and patted their heads. "Thank you," I said softly, turning to the command center. As I walked over, I made sure the say hello or good morning to any clone I passed. They all smiled back or waved before running to their group. "Good morning 99, " I said happily as I passed the old clone. " Morning Madame," 99 said back happily. He held the hand of two very young cadets. "Lost?," I chuckled. 99 chuckled as well. "You know how good our sense of direction is Madame," he said. "Well, enjoy your morning," I hummed, picking my pass up slightly so I could make it to the command center on time.

"Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka good to see you all again," I greeted as I walked in the center. "Master Ti, good to see you again. I wish we came here under better circumstances," Obi-Wan said, nodding his head. "Hello Master Ti," Ahsoka said excitedly, happy to see one of her mentors (cough, and one of her mother figures, cough) again. I smiled brightly and hugged the young Torguta tightly. " I have missed hunting with you Ahsoka," I said warmly, " It is good to see you again as well Anakin, how is the arm?" "It's been great Master Ti, thank you again for that book, it really helped to fix that movement restriction," Anakin said. "Of course, now why are you all here?," I asked curiously.

" We intercepted a message from Dooku, he is attacking Kamino again. He'll personally be here this time," Anakin said, seething. I frowned and crossed my arms over my chest. " A bold move considering what happened last time as came close to Kamino," I said softly. The blow had been swift and harsh, and we had lost many good men. But overall, the armies of Dooku had lost two times as many. "Exactly what we were thinking, he'll have stronger forces and a better plan this time around," Obi-Wan said, stroking his chin slightly, "We'll have the forces here, the 501st, and the 212th, along with the Coruscant Guard that came with us, but we'll need more." "Master Secura said that she can afford to send half her forces to help here, and Master Windy has already dispatched Commander Ponds and most of his men to aid us. General Plo said that he's wrapped up in a battle on Ryloth and Master Billaba is on the other side of the galaxy, she'd never make it on time. Everyone else is out of communication or too deep in a battle," Anakin said grimly. I nodded, absorbing the information. 

" Set up defenses and get the cadets into the barracks, make sure to have the senior cadets on a guard duty inside the barracks. I want a guard set up at the DNA chambers immediately," I ordered and troopers around me began to run around to set everything up, " Someone also tell the Kaminoans to get to their safety rooms or whatever they retreat too in battle. Get the shields up over the birthing pods, I don't want to lose any of those again. Inform the outposts to be on the look out for any sign of a Separatist fleet, I want regular reports and I want to know if any fail to report in."

" Yes Madame," the troopers salted before running off. " You seem to have things well under control Master Ti," Obi-Wan chuckled. I grinned slightly. " Comes with practice Obi-Wan. I will go to inform the battalions of our plan. Ahsoka, go to the barracks and help set up the defensives, then stay there unless we call you to another area. They attacked there in the first battle, I don't want any repeats." She nodded and ran off. " Anakin, head to the DNA chambers and Obi-Wan, you stay here," I ordered before running out myself. As I went to the hangers, I looked to make sure that everything was under way. "Not again Dooku," I muttered, " You won't be taking these men from me again."
