Chapter 21 The Human Heist

The labent star ascends from the horizon, peeking through from creaks and crevasses of the mountains towering over the city. This new dawn signals the start of their plan... The human heist. Axel, Scrappy and Lily await within the cargo container Ceasar carries towards the main entrance of the city. R3D and the remaining children, stood deep within the tunnel they made underneath the city, as they continue to drill further into the centre near the location of the frequency emitter.

Axel: "We're all in position V"

V: "Got it, heading for the skies now... Good luck everyone. Remember, stay focused and prepared for anything..."

V revs his bike as he blasts off into the air from the entrance of the cave far away from the city.

Axel: "How close are you to the emitter R3?"

R3D: "Bree Oooop...Bree Oooooop Ooop"

V: "What did he say?"

Axel: "That they're too deep for his scan to reach the top so he can't find its exact location"

V: "Oh well, just... head... for... the..."

Static noises follow as V's voice is cut off from the transmission.

Axel: "I guess he's too high up now... Make your way up into the city, once you're close enough R3... You can scan the area for it and you guys can begin to breach the surface..."

Caesar: "Quiet now Axel, we are arriving at the gate..."

As they approach the gate, machines emerge from the shadows of the walls surrounding the city holding weapons in their hands as they watch Caesar push the container towards the gate.

Anderthal 1: "Hold it right there android... Who sent this shipment, and what is your purpose here in New Anderthal?"

Caesar: "This is important hardware sent by The Primordial himself. Get out of my way bots, do not waste the time of The Primordial's forces... Unless you seek destruction"

Anderthal 1: "You are one of The Primordial's personal forces?"

Anderthal 2: "Can't you see? it is made purely of titanium, only The Primordial's forces would be made purely of such a valuable metal... forgive us for our ignorance earlier... We the Anderthals take our security very seriously when it comes to outsiders"

Anderthal 1: "I have never seen this model though... You are a Ti model, but which one... You aren't the previous 9000 model because we were told they were completely destroyed and remade into the Ti1millions... So what are you?

Caesar: "You really waste not only my time but The Primordial's time with these meaningless questions bot?! I am a Ti2million! The very first and only of my kind thus far and I have been tasked with getting this container to the headquarters of this city without interruption such as this one... So get out of my way so I can have this ready for his arrival you insolent shit scraps... Now open the gate"

The machines glare into Caesar's face as the massive gate slowly opens behind them. Paving a clear path inside as the gate scrapes away all the heaps of snow and frozen ice from underneath it.

Anderthal 1: "Forgive my insolence... Do you require an escort to the headquarters?"

Caesar: "Of course not, just stay out of my way"

Anderthal 1: "Understood"

As Caesar pushes the container inside, entering the city. The two machines behind him continue their chatter amongst themselves.

Anderthal 2: " 2million?! That machine was greater than the 1millions... You just stood on the edge of destruction"

Anderthal 1: "And the one and only make of its kind... That machine must be a part of the elite forces. The Primordial's personal guards even... What could The Primordial be planning in this frozen city..."
