So uh... As an American, I don't understand British currency, and I'm too stupid to try. I'm just gonna put in US dollars, and if that bothers you, I apologize???

Turns out that while walking outside the library with the letter in hand, an owl swooped down and grabbed it. Snatched it straight from Hadrian's hand.

It was a reasonably frightening experience.

He had quickly brushed it off and waited for a response which came the very next morning.

Once Hadrian had been kicked out of the house by Petunia, he headed for the library. Hadrian went straight to a private room and flipped the "occupied by ____" sign on the door. After using one of the provided dry erase markers to write his name in the blank space, he entered the room.

It wasn't too large of a room, but it also wasn't small. It was enough to fit a light grey love seat, armrest, and a reddish-brown coffee table squeezed into one corner with a reddish-brown desk and a black desk chair in another. The room came with a small laptop connected to the desk by a chain so nobody could steal it but still move it to make space on the desk. The walls were a cool light blue, while the carpet was made up of black, blue, yellow, and brown stripes. There were two lamps in the room. One sat to the left of the door, and another was placed in the corner between the two couches. You could probably fit about 4 or 5 people in the 14-ish by 9 or 10-foot room.

Hadrian decided to sit in the armchair to read the letter.

Dear Mr. Potter,

I am very confident when I say that our establishment is indeed genuine. Sadly, the fact that you do not know of the wizarding world is concerning. Your aunt should have known as her younger sister Lily Evans had been a witch. She should have informed you of our civilization. If we had known how uninformed you were, we would have sent you a more muggle-born friendly greeting. Such being where I would have made time to give you your letter and introduce you and your family to our society. Because of the unique circumstances, a teacher will be sent to the requested location tomorrow at 10 am sharp. This teacher will introduce you to the magical world and help you buy your school supplies.
