"The alarm! Titans go!" Robin shouted at the top of his lungs.
I fought back a smile. "No emotion Raven." I mumbled under my breath.
Starfire ran and hugged him. "Oh Robin! We get to fight the crime again!"
"We can't sit here hugging Star!" I hissed dragging her from his arms into the elevator.
The Hive hasn't been the same since Jinx defected. We had been spending a lot of time together since she began dating Kid Flash. Finally someone who understands wanting to be good but having the gift of darkness. Starfire was clearly jealous of what she called "the bond of the sisterly friends". After everything that had happened with Blackfire and how I've kind of just ignored her this entire time I can see why. I can't help not wanting to be around the girl who holds the heart of the man who holds my own.
"Raven look out!" Robin shoved me out of the way as Gizmo shot at me with who knows what.
"Sorry. I'll pay more attention." I couldn't meet his eyes.
"Raven.. Are you alright?" He placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Fine." I tried to look up at him.
"No. It's too soon. I'm not risking it again. Go back to the tower." This time I yanked him out of the way of Gizmos ray.
"I'm not leaving." The determination in my voice was uncanny. He didn't respond, just stared at me.
The entire fight was driving me crazy. I needed to get home before I lost control.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"
I was soaring in the air higher than anyone. The power building up till Zam! Mammoth and Gizmo lay in a crumpled heap. Slowly I floated back down to the ground. Robin came running towards me.
"Raven! You shouldn't be exerting that much power this soon!" He screamed.
"Whatever." I didn't want him acting like he cared about me. It's Starfire. It's always been Starfire.
Sadly it was she that came over next.
"Robin is she not okay?" Starfire looked at me like I was a dying puppy.
"I can speak for myself! I'm fine!" The window next to me shattered.
"Raven calm down. She didn't mean to offend you." Robin reached for my shoulder.
I shook my head. I have to get away. I backed away from them slowly before turning and flying down the street.
"Raven!" BeastBoy screamed after me but I couldn't stop. I had to get as far away as possible.
"Raven?" I looked up and saw I was in Jinxes new apartment. "Are you alright?" When she reached for me I didn't pull away.
"No. No I'm not alright." She gave me a hesitant pat on the back. "Why couldn't Starfire have gotten married like she was supposed too?!" I yelled angrily. I could feel energy building up and I quickly suppressed my emotions before I could do any damage.
"It's alright Raven." Jinx gave me a small smile.
Soon we were meditating on the ground channeling our energies into a safer outlet. My T-communicator kept buzzing but I didn't pay attention. Soon there was a knock on the door. Jinx hesitantly went to answer it.
"Is Raven here?" The voice on the other side of the door asked.
"No." Jinx had no problem lying to whoever it was.
"Robin! If Raven isn't here where will she be?" Starfire.
I inwardly groaned. I thought I recognized the first voice. I could imagine the skeptical look on Robins face. I was right as he shoved past Jinx and barged in.
