Tanzanite

When the light faded, the design of the fusion was...interesting to say the least. The fusion's hair was significantly longer than Ermac, going down to the dead center of their back and had a few big skunk stripes of whitish lavender to signify Amethyst's contribution. Their skin had a dark purple coloration to it, that faded to a pale bluish hue around the hands and around their gems. The arm braces Ermac had turned to fingerless gloves, embracing Amethyst's rebellious nature. The black underclothes turned to black torn clothing, a shirt and jeans with star shaped holes torn in the knees and where Amethyst's gem is.

The shoes had turned to grey combat boots, which had a purple star on the bottom of one boot and a green star on the other. Ermac's red vest had turned to a dark purple leather jacket that had a big black star emblazed on the back of it. The face covering had turned into a purple scarf, that covered the bottom half of their face. Their two sets of eyes were the same chill purple. Some of the parts that stayed more or less the same of Ermac's clothing had small gold motifs

"Whoooa. This is cool. Hm...now who are we?" The fusion asked, resting their hand against their face in contemplation.

"How about...Tanzanite?" Pearl suggested.

"Nah nah. That doesn't sound right. Ooh! We got it. We'll call ourselves Tanzanite!" Tanzanite said, fully recognizing that they took Pearl's idea. Tanzanite's voice was...well the best they could describe was a...gender neutral surfer dude, if that makes any sense. It was similar to Stevonnie, to where the appearance along with the tone of voice could make you think Tanzanite was male or female, and it could cause genuine confusion.

"Nice to meet you, Tanzanite. Should we see what you can do?" Garnet said with a smile.

"No probs, G-Squad," Tanzanite replied as they pulled Amethyst's whip out of the gem on their chest. The other hand went to try and pull Ermac's weapon out...but they couldn't get anything.

"Yo where's your weapon?" Tanzanite asked, Amethyst talking to Ermac through Tanzanite.

"We don't think we have one," Ermac replied, their tone pushing through to Tanzanite.

"We'll figure that part out later. For now though, let's figure out what you can do aside from a weapon," Garnet diverted. Tanzanite had a hand to their chin, trying to think of something they could try to do.

"We could try...Power Lash!" Tanzanite said as they slammed their hands together, raising them up and slamming them down into the ground. A fiery purple energy shockwave erupted from where Tanzanite stood, making Garnet and Pearl stagger a bit once the wave swept over them.

"Oh my!" Pearl said as she held onto a pillar to stabilize herself.

"Excellent," Garner said with a few happy hand claps. Tanzanite observed what they had done and remarked with a few playful arm flexes.

"Dang. We really pack some heat, don't we?" Tanzanite gloated with a smirk.

"Indeed you do. Seems your powers are a tad limited without a full weapon though. Perhaps you two should infuse so we can get Ermac a weapon proper," Pearl remarked. Tanzanite gave a nod of understanding and in a flash, Amethyst and Ermac were separated again.

"Yooooooo! That was trippy! I got to see them! All 10,000 of them! Guys, he's like the Steven in there! He asks all his other parts what he should do!" Amethyst explained with a laugh at how interesting it was to fuse with Ermac.

"Really?" Garnet asked, one of the most curious as to what fusing with Ermac was like mentally.

"It is...very strange having an additional presence inside of our head. Perhaps it is something that will become common for us as we fuse more," Ermac said with a hand on his head.

"How did it feel for you to be Tanzanite?" Garnet asked the two of them, primarily Ermac. Amethyst knows how it feels to fuse but Ermac is the one who isn't familiar with it.

"It felt...strange. We felt like ourselves, but with a bit extra to our body," Ermac said, trying to put the experience into words.

"It felt like we....we were us...but better," Ermac summed up.

"I understand. Fusion can bring the best out of your individual parts," Garnet said, tilting her glasses forward. Giving a wink from the third eye. Ermac had a smile under their face cover.

"So...where would we go to get a gem weapon from exactly?" Ermac asked.

"We all got our weapons from Bismuth. I'm sure she could make you a weapon too," Pearl explained, summoning her trident. Ermac gave a nod before heading to the warp pad and heading to Little Homeworld.
