" That would be 500 Yen " The cashier said as I heard a big explosion near were the convenience store was located.

All the sounds of destruction's got louder , I saw people through the window , running and screaming on the streets. All of them looking at a certain direction were the sounds were coming from. Helicopters and reporters rushed to the scene while i calmly looked for some coins to pay for my bubble tea. I was wearing my disguise and enjoyed my stay in public.

" Here you go." I calmly said as I held my hand out that contained the money in my palm.

The cashier was shocked , anxious as he feared for his life as there was probably a fight going on outside the store. I just put the money on the reception , grabbed my bubble tea , slurped and walked through the automatically sliding doorway. I immediately felt a familiar heat and small red flashed were moving around me. the background noises were filled with citizens screaming in fear while running away or looking for their loved ones. I slowly looked up to the directions where the bangs and rumble were coming from. I stared as I slowly put my sunglasses down , the only thing that covered my face was my medical mask.

I couldn't believe my eyes as I perplexity stared at the fight between the top number one hero , Endeavour, Hawks and a Nomu. The Nomu didn't look normal like I have seen before. It was huge and had immense power , as Even the two pro heros were struggling , fighting for their lives. My heart raced as I couldn't keep my eyes of them. Hawks was helping the trapped citizens to get out of the building while Endeavour fought the Nomu.

Flashback

I stared at the huge glass jar which was connected to a machine that preserve a creature inside. Shikamaru noticed the concerned look on my face , " Our newest ... creation. A Nomu so strong that even pro heroes would struggle to defeat one. " He proudly explained.

" I see ... luckily I am not a hero ... so I don't have to deal with ...that." I said while I took a look at the other Nomus.

Flashback over

I replayed that memory over and over again in my head , not believing how strong these creatures actually were. The sounds of the news reporter , shouting something into the camera , pulled me back to reality. My whole body trembled as I couldn't look away , my feet started to tingle , my hands , sweaty. Should I help them or should I just walk away ? So many things were going on in my head but I snapped out of it ,as I saw the number one hero get badly hurt. The Nomu hit Endeavour right in his eye , causing him to to fall motionless on the ground. My body moved by itself , jumping on top of the collapsed building where he was laying , everything soaked in blood. I punched the Nomu so hard that with the help of my quirk that the Nomu got blown away. I was trying to buy me some time as I instantly started to heal the wound.

The Nomu wasn't really affected my my hit and rushed back to fight us. I managed to stop his bleeding for now as I didn't have enough time , feeling relieved as he regained consciousness. I wanted to ask Endeavour if he had any other bleeding wounds but I remembered that I was still a villain , a villain in disguise. I regretted my decision by helping them , as I feared to get caught by the villain league. They would kill me if anyone would find out about that and the heroes , well they would put me in jail. One small deed wouldn't repay all the crimes that I have done. As I helped him getting up , I felt Hawks presents just a few meters away from me ,whilst the crowd of anxious citizens got louder.

" LOOK AT THAT!" A Kid screamed into the news reporter camera " THE FLAMES ARE STILL BURNING , SEE ?" the child took a deep breath " Endeavour's still alive and fighting! STOP LETTING SOMETHING THAT ISN'T THERE LET YOU DOWN." He continued as a friend of his tried to calm him down.

" Right now , who's the man...risking his life for our sakes ? LOOK !" The kid continued screaming.

By that time Endeavour was chasing the Nomu in midair , using all the of his strength that he's got left to defeat it. I and Hawks followed him as I had to see how he was getting hit in the face as well , causing his glasses to break. He used the last feathers that he had left to support Endeavour whilst not having a single one to keep him in the air. Before he could crush into the next building , I grabbed him by his armes. Somehow catching him to dim our fall on the rooftop of another building. His face had some small scratches which i healed while watching Endeavour and the Nomu flying higher and higher to the sky.

" Those eyes ... babybird ?" Hawks called me by my old nickname when we were a couple back then.

I didn't reply , pulling my mask higher and focusing on the fight. I felt that Endeavour would go all out this time and I was right. The waves of heat were intense but he was so far away that they didn't hurt us. The wind was blowing tash and other things that randomly were on the streets around. With all the adrenalin in my body and me squinting my eyes , I didn't notice that Hawks was wrapping his arms around me. He stood in a protective position so that the things that were flying around ,couldn't hit me.

" ENDEAVOUR IS STANDING!" The child cheered.

Whilst other celebrated and smiled , others cried out of frustration or relive. The whole city was probably watching the fight and me , fighting alongside the heros. I looked to Endeavour as he was standing proudly on the street , pulled my cap closer to my face and wanted to leave as Hawks stopped me.

" (Y/N) ?" He paused " I know it's you..." He sorrowful said.

I slowly turned around while still looking to the floor.

Hawks softly giggled to hide his sadness , " I am... so happy to see you fighting on our side... I just want to know what's going on ...I mean...you always wanted to be a hero... fighting alongside with me ....what happened to that dream ?" He silently asked.

I looked to the side. News Reporters and ambulance was rushing to the top hero. " Things are complicated... not everything makes sense... but at the end of the day its not me fighting heroes or villains ... I am always fighting with myself...and it won't stop..." I said as tears started running down my face.

Hawks had never seen me like this before. How could he ? I was always acting happy and satisfied with our relationship or life in general. So how could he see how broken I actually was with him being part of the reason. He knew that. I received messages over messages , he even apologise publicly , looking for me , asking other heros and villian that he arrested about me. there was no doubt that he cared for me but I moved on and so should he.

"...if only I knew ...I ...maybe things would have..." He got interrupted.

" NO !" I started crying harder " It would have turned out the same ...maybe even worse. I couldn't play the happy , sweet and innocent girlfriend anymore...and when you cheated...I..." I trembled as all my emotion were now exposed. The things that I build up inside of me , the thoughts and things that I worried about and the pain watching the few people that I had left , slowly starting to hate me or leaving me , broke me even more. I didn't know what was right or wrong. I loved the freedom as a villain but I also loved my friends that I had left. It was to protect them.

Hawks slowly came closer to hug me but I turned around and just walked away. Still crying as my walking turned to running and as my running turned to sprinting. I didn't know where i was going but I just wanted to leave. Maybe even leaving everything behind , living in the woods with myself to regain clarity and my sanity.

Just leave.
