"Fuck," I mumble while trying to locate my phone.  Finding it on the floorboard in the passenger seat, I press my Bluetooth button three times to connect to my phone.  Hearing the tone for Siri and I almost cry.  "Call Derek."

"Calling Derek My Brother."  Looking around, I realize that I am behind the abandoned warehouses about twenty minutes from Damien's house and I groan before coughing.  "I'm sorry but something went wrong."

"Fuck!"  Pressing the button again, I wait for the prompt before calling him again.  Waiting a moment, I hear the dial tone before hearing his groggy voice on the other end.

"June?"  I let out a loud sob and I hear rustling.  "June, what happened?"

"A semi came at me," I take in a breath in pain, "avoided...curb...rolled."

"Listen to me, June I need you to stay awake.  Where are you?"  I try to focus on a response but my eyes start to close and my head begins to throb and I groan.  "June, where are you?"

"Warehouses... Damien."  Derek starts yelling on the other end of the phone but I can't focus on anything.  "Dam...ien...Jake."

"We're going to go get them.  Help is on the way, June."  I let out a small sob and Derek calls out to me but all I see is black.

"Help..."  The sirens in the background are the last thing I hear before the silence swallows me.

"Ma'am, can you hear me?!"  Opening my eyes, I see a security guard standing at my door with a flashlight and I groan.  "Thank God, my name is James, Ma'am.  I called 9-1-1 and they told me that they already had engines and their ambulance in route but that I needed to keep you awake and make sure that you are still breathing.  Can you do that for me?"  I nod my head slowly.  "Good, good, I'm still on the line with the 9-1-1 operator and she wants to know if you can move."  I try to move my body and a searing pain goes through my shoulder and abdomen and I scream before trying to gasp for air.  "Oh shit, it looks like she's got two major wounds, one in her shoulder and the other in her stomach... Okay, can you move your legs or toes?"  I try to wiggle my toes and find that I can and smile at the common thought that there isn't any major spinal damage.  "She can!"

"Beast..."  The man looks at me with a raised brow.

"Ma'am I am a security officer here--"

"My...Beast..."  He looks at me before a look of realization comes across his face.

"Is he your boyfriend?"  I nod.  "Georgia, I have a quick question, did anyone mention someone by the name of Beast?"  There's a moment of silence before he looks at me with a smile.  "He's hauling ass and trailing behind the ambulance with your brother, Derek."  I smile at the thought and close my eyes but the man taps my face to prevent me from doing so.  "No no no, you have people that you need to get back to, honey.  I know that it hurts and that you want to go to bed but you can't, okay?  I was in a crash about two years ago and all I wanted to do was sleep but my husband was on the phone with me the entire time telling me that I couldn't."

"Hus...band?"

He smiles.  "Yep and I have two beautiful babies, twins from my sister and I love them so much."

"Name?"

"Amy and Duncan, I wanted to name her Abby but both my sister and husband said no.  I told him that he was supposed to be on my side.  They're six now and I couldn't be happier.  What about you, do you have any?"  I shake my head.

"Little," I take a breath, "brother," I cough harshly, "Beast," one more breath, "his daughter."

"Ah default kid, that's not too bad."  The sirens start getting louder and I soon find myself looking into the headlights of a firetruck.  "Look, they're here."
