"Leave."
"No."
"I said leave."
"Make me."
"Bitch, get off of my fucking property."
"I want to see my daughter."
"She isn't your daughter, she hasn't been since you left her on my fucking doorstep!" I hold Addy close to me along with Jake before kissing their heads and walking to the door. Wrapping an arm around Damien's waist, I peak my head out from under the arm leaning against the door frame. I nuzzle his chest lightly and he pulls me closer, closing the door more in the process as he sighs and kisses my forehead.
"Who the fuck is this," the woman yells loudly.
"Why the fuck do you care," Damien asks with a glare.
"Like I said, I want to see my daughter. My daughter who I don't feel comfortable leaving with a complete fucking stranger."
"But she left Addy with you." The woman lets out a bitter laugh.
"Oh and she's a freak!" Damien's hold tightens on me. "This is just great."
"I won't tell you again, Alexis, leave my fucking property right now or I will not hesitate to call the cops on your ass for trespassing."
"And risk getting arrested yourself?! You wouldn't dare!" Before either of us could say anything, I see a familiar giant walking behind us.
"Hello!"
"Everything okay parum principem?" [Latin: little princess]
"I thought you were Russian or something."
"I know many languages," he says simply before looking down at Alexis. "Is she a problem?"
"Yes," I sign simply and the blonde woman seems to know what that meant because she starts screaming at the top of her lungs. Ozzy quickly silenced her as he flashes his gun.
"You have thirty seconds, I suggest you use them wisely." She didn't.
"I am coming back for my daughter and I want that bitch gone when I do!" The woman ran off as soon as Ozzy said "28" and quickly drove off in her beat down car.
"You do have proper legal paperwork stating that you are her primary and basically only parent, yes?"
"Yep."
"She's about to look very stupid isn't she?"
"Most likely."
"Do you care?"
"Nope."
"Cool."
"Cool."
"You two," Ozzy says pointing between the two of us, "are stranger than most." He breaks his usual tense expression for a large smile. "I like it."
"Sis," Jake asks from the living room, "can we order Chinese?"
"Sure," I say with a smile. "Would you like to stay Ozzy?"
"No, I am fine. I'm afraid I must track down my brother. He is not where he is meant to be." I tilt my head in confusion and worry. "Do not worry, I am sure he is fine."
Ozzy wants it to seem like everything is fine but you can tell that he is hurting, that he is truly disturbed by the fact that his brother isn't where he said he would be. Pulling out my phone, I shoot a text to Jer quickly asking for him to keep an eye out for anything strange concerning Ozzy's brother. Jer tells me that he'll get his feelers out into his world and let me know if they find anything but I fear that there is nothing they can do.
