13:: The preparations and Confusions

3 weeks had passed after the party hosted by Kim Namjoon.

Everyone was preparing for Minho and Sihyeon's wedding ceremony.

Because SooHyun was in a rush to marry his daughter, they had skipped the engagement.

For now everyone was making sure the wedding would be perfect. The wedding would be followed by a lavish reception and almost everyone they could think of, was invited.

Even Mirae's parents had gotten an invitation. But aside from the whole wedding preparation, Mirae had another thing on her mind.

Beomgyu had asked her for a favour and because she had just turned down his feelings, Mirae accepted the request at once out of guilt.

But now she was regretting it. She didn't know who should could discuss this issue with other than Denise. But even Denise had been out of contact.

The last time Mirae had met Denise was on her wedding day about 4 months ago.

They did call eachother once in a while but that was different than meeting in person.

Denise had also been send a wedding invitation on Mirae's request but she still hadn't replied.

As much as Mirae was worried, she tried to stay positive. The last time they were in contact, which was 3 weeks ago, Denise had said she would be starting a new job and would be extra busy for some time. So Mirae just hoped, Denise's absence was due to her jobs.

While Mirae was worried sick about her friend, someone else was having the time of their life.

For the past 3 weeks, Nina had been spending most of her waking hours with her soon to be mother. And as much as Sihyeon hated the thought of marriage and hated Lee Minho even more, spending time with Nina made her forget all her worries.

She was excited to become Nina's mother but was also worried. Her own mother had died when she was born so she didn't know what exactly a mother was supposed to do.

The wedding was in exactly a week and both Minho and Sihyeon still couldn't bare eachother's presence. Minho hated the idea of Nina spending time with Sihyeon because he still didn't trust her but no one can resist Nina's puppy eyes. Especially not Minho because it only reminded him more of his lover.

Speaking of her, Minho spend most of the time in his room, locked up looking at the few pictures of Nauen he had. Nauen was a very shy person and hated taking photos.

"Will you forgive me? I really had no choice."

He spoke to the long haired girl in the picture. But deep down even Minho knew that rather than angry, Nauen would be happy that Nina finally got to experience the love of a mother.

Minho gave Nina all the love in the world but still he could never fill the absence of a mother in Nina's heart alone.

"I thought maybe I could be her Hyun Oppa like I was for you." Minho laughed sadly.

"Speaking of Hyun hyung, I don't know how I would talk to Hyung about Sihyeon. He even had a hard time accepting that you had died protecting Nina. To this day he has kept his distance from Nina. I don't know how I'll confront him about Sihyeon." Minho sighed.

The only people who Minho had ever been scared of were his wife on her periods and Chanyeol Hyung.

Chanyeol wasn't Nauen's real brother but he loved her exactly like a little sister. Back when Nauen was young a boy named Baekhyun was her brother even tho they weren't really blood related.

Chanyeol had loved Baekhyun but Baekhyun had died when they were all just children.

Minho had never met Baekhyun but he seemed like a wonderful person.
