"You have one year left I expect the biggest and best stories, alright kid?" Sirius smiles widely at the girl as they stand on the platform.

"You got it dad," She grins, allowing him to wrap his arms around her in one last hug

"And you better look after my girl," He adds, shooting Cedric a faux glare

"She doesn't need anyone looking out for her but I'll be doing it anyway,"

"God, I hate how charming you are," Sirius groans, shooting the boy a playful wink to ensure he knows he's only kidding

"We are leaving before you two start making out," Emily smirks, eyes flickering between her dad and Remus who blushes a little at the gentle teasing

"Love you kid," Sirius grins

"I know," She smirks, grabbing Cedric's hand and pulling him along with her, only turning back to blow her dad a kiss.

The couple climb onto the train, parting ways to find their own friends with a quick kiss and a promise of meeting that night by the lake.

"How's golden boy?" Lee questions with a grin as she enters the compartment her friends are occupying

"Put some respect on his name Jordan, that's head golden boy now," Fred smirks widely

"On that topic do you reckon we can get away with more? Like surely Cedric will like look after us," George quesions

"George, that just sounds weird. Like there's nothing wrong with the sentence but it makes me uncomfy," Katie grumbles

"Yeah I second that," Emily agrees, her head resting on Angelina's shoulder "Besides, he'll look out for me but I'll throw you bitches under the bus to get out of a Snape detention,"

"We all know you wouldn't don't even try and act like a bad bitch now,"  Fred retorts

"Fuck you Fredrick she's a bad bitch and you're just jealous," Katie smirks

"Yeah, I would," Alice mumbles, not looking up from her work

"Al you need to find yourself a girl you're too horny," Angelina teases, laughing when the girl is quick to throw the croissant she had been eating at her before turning back to the textbook in her hand

"Don't be bitter you aren't her type Angie," George laughs, the loud noise making Lee, who had been sleeping in the corner jolt awake

"Sleeping beauty! You're awake!" Fred grins, reaching out to poke Lee's cheeks

"I hate you people,"

"What is it with you people and lying today. Clearly we all know Emily would take the blame for us all and now Lee is acting like we aren't his favourite people. Merlin, I don't know who I can trust anymore,"

"You are so dramatic," Alice mutters, Fred letting out a mock gasp, clutching his hands to his chest, further proving her point.

"What are you doing anyway?" Katie questions, Alice had been practically silent the whole time save for the occasional comment, head buried in a book and hand scribbling at some parchment

"I did not do any of my summer work," Alice admits

"Who kept you so busy all summer?" Lee questions, eyebrows raised

"No one you know,"

"A secret girlfriend?" Emily exclaims, Katie's eyes widening to the size of saucepans

"My, my, my, it seems we have a mystery on our hands!" George beams

"No. No we will not be bringing back detective service Weasley and Weasley," Angelina groans. Every time a secret was brought to the attention of the group the twins claimed to own a detective service, doing any and everything to get to the bottom of it. There was usually accents and even costumes occasionally.

"You are no fun Johnson," Fred smirks

"I will cry if you do a Scottish  accent ever again," Angelina retorts, they had a playful we hate each other thing going on but it was clear they both fancied each other.

"Why ai lassie, my accent is very good,"

"You sound french," Angelina deadpans

"What french people do you know that say Lassie?" Fred retaliates. The sound of the trolley stopping the pair from further bickering.

"Anyone want anything?" Emily questions, glancing at her friends as she stands

"Chocolate wand please," Katie chirps

"Can I get a pumpkin pastie?" Alice questions still not look up

Emily nods stepping out into the corridor to buy her snacks. "Hey, someone's feeling hungry?" Cedric is smirking widely when she turns around

"I'm getting an overwhelming sense we've had this conversation before," She grins

"Yeah me too," He laughs, he's leaning against the small wall eyes looking her up and down and they're so full of admiration she could melt.  "Reckon I could steal a kiss this time or is Lee about to burst out here and ruin another moment?"

"Think he fell back to sleep around the time Fred's Scottish accent came out," She grins, slowly approaching him and closing the distance between them

"I've learnt not to ask when it involves any member of the Weasley family," Cedric laughs, his hands grabbing her waist to pull her right to his chest, settling there as his thumb gently rubs her hip.

"That's probably for the best," She admits, her arms moving to loop around his neck, he grins widely, lips meeting her and god if it doesn't feel like the world stops around them.

She pulls away, smirking a little when his lips chase after her's almost involuntarily placing a final peck to them. "I should go deliver my friends their food,"

"Don't go," Cedric protests, "Ben's sleeping and Justin is too busy writing a letter to his summer fling to talk to me,"

"Oh so you only want me when your friends are busy?" She teases, a smirk on her face

"You are putting words in my mouth," He grumbles, perking up when she presses a peck to his lips once more.

"I'll see you later Ced,"

"Okay sweetheart," He smiles gently, watching with a fond smile as she slips back into her carriage.
