Chapter 10

So to break down things, here is what has happened in the past 30 minutes of a quite hostile conversation that was led mostly by none other than Jennie.

1) Jennie can terminate Soojoo's contract with BV. Perks of having authority.

2) Social media + any contact with external communications/media is not permitted for Soojoo. If she fails to follow, then back to point #1.

3) Soojoo needs to back off from Jisoo! Needs to stop with her 'stalker ex-girlfriend with a sad story' cosplay!

4) Work and personal life needs to be separated! 

And to summarize Miss Hong Soojoo's rebuttals:

1) Jennie can't risk terminating her contract because, a) Soojoo's little 'stunt' has brought so much attention to the Fashion Week now, b) Which shows in the skyrocketing stocks for both BV and Triple J, and c) Isn't it better to keep enemies closer? (Jennie scoffed at this point).

2) Jisoo's the one acting like the crazy ex-girlfriend! Why can't Jisoo just give Soojoo a chance? A couple lunch dates here and there and a couple hang outs don't hurt!

3) Work and personal life can't be separated. I mean, look at Jennie and Jisoo. 

And so let's come back to the current point of conversation:

"5 dates. Give me 5 dates to convince you that I have changed, Jisoo. And during those 5 dates, if you, even for a millisecond, don't feel something then I will back off for once and for all." 

Jisoo furrows her brows as she looks into Soojoo's eyes drilling into her own with gentleness for once. Jisoo doesn't respond, instead, it's Jennie who steps in. 

"And what makes you think that I will allow that to happen?" she asks sharply. 

"Because if you really trust that Jisoo loves you," Soojoo responds, "Then you'll be confident that she can go on 5 dates with me and still come back to you." 

Jennie sees a small smirk draw on Soojoo's face and its the evident confidence that Soojoo has whenever it comes to Jisoo that boils Jennie's blood. It boils Jennie's blood but also makes her second doubt herself. She and Jisoo love each other, that's for certain. But then why is Soojoo so confident? Why is she so persistent?

Jisoo senses the prolonged silence from Jennie and decides to take matters into her own matters. 

"Soojoo, that is a ridiculous-"

"Deal." 

What!?

Jennie uncrosses her arms and leans onto the table. She clenches her jaw as she looks right at the model. 

"5 dates, Soojoo." Jennie states. "After 5 dates you are no longer welcome or allowed to be in Jisoo's life."

"Jennie-"

"Deal." Soojoo cuts off Jisoo. "But don't be too sure that I won't be in Jisoo's life, Jennie. If anything, the tables might be turned."

While Jennie's impulsive decision to let her girlfriend go on 5 dates with her ex-girlfriend is taking a toll on her, the media has been loving the 'gimmick' that the trio (Jennie, Jisoo, Soojoo) along with BV and Triple J have put on. 

"So to clarify, you are dating Jisoo, right?" Irene asks. She sees Jennie rub her temples as she lets out a sigh. Fast-forward less than 48 hours from the New Years party and here they were, thrown into chaos and celebration at once.
