Jennie, I'm reaching out for some help! Are there any good cafes nearby? I'm not up to date with whats hip lately around here. My ex agreed to meet up with me today so I wanted to meet up somewhere nice!

After checking Soojoo's message, Jennie pulls up her chat with Jisoo.

Wanna grab lunch today?

[Jisoo]

I can't today :( I have to meet someone during lunch :(

Jennie hasn't seen Jisoo in the past couple days. To be specific, after the fantasy-fulfilling night in the kitchen, she hasn't seen Jisoo. This is the longest both she and Jisoo have gone without seeing each other and its killing Jennie. She still messages Jisoo and still talks with Jisoo over the phone but Jennie can sense something off. However, all those worries flush away every time Jisoo showers her with affection. The good mornings and the goodnight calls. Even during her busiest times Jisoo still makes time to message Jennie and even shoot off some selfies. So Jennie shrugs off any worries.

She just misses the girl a lot.

Jisoo checks the time on her watch. She's been busy these past couple days. Busy with work, yes. But also busy with thoughts and emotions. Her mind's been her biggest demon the past couple nights and she hasn't gotten a good night's rest. When she received Soojoo's message a couple nights ago, Jisoo felt numb. She didn't know what to feel. Was she supposed to be happy that her ex reached out to her? Or was she supposed to be angry that it's been 5 years? She had been able to put on a front while being with Jennie that night. The younger girl had snuggled in her arms that night and Jisoo had watched Jennie doze off with just sparkling eyes. She liked Jennie. As simple as that. And she wasn't going to let anything ruin this.

After Jennie had fallen deeply in sleep, Jisoo had carefully removed herself from the girl's embrace and left the girl's apartment. She had left a small note on top of the girl's night stand reading "Make sure you cover up your marks tomorrow for work ;)". That was the last time she had seen Jennie. Since then, Jisoo's been letting some sort of guilt eat her away. She had messaged Soojoo that very night after leaving Jennie's apartment. The two didn't exchange much over text. That was for today.

"Jisoo."

Jisoo's eyes look up at a familiar voice she hasn't heard in years. And there walks the tall, beautiful model she has spent the past 5 years erasing from her mind and heart. And as if Soojoo's appearance is a trigger, Jisoo feels the air around her get stuffy and her heart beat faster. She takes in a deep breath to calm herself down, hoping Soojoo doesn't notice her uneasiness.

"Thanks for meeting up with me, Jisoo." Soojoo says. She sits down across from Jisoo. The cafe is playing a joyful music in the background. "I ordered us some drinks and a snack for us. On me. It'll be here soon."
