Music brings people together.
Hawks keeps hearing someone playing music every day when he passes by an apartment building on his patrol route. Little does he know the mystery musician is someone from his past he never thought he would see again.
"STOP! STOP! STOP!" Kirin's manager yelled storming into the studio, "ENOUGH OF THIS SAD SHIT AIKA, ENOUGH!"
Dabi stood up from the wall he was leaning on, watching Kirin's manager start cursing her out, he was confused about what was going on and he started making his way over to Kirin.
"Dabi don't," Nikki said, grabbing his shirt cuff.
"He should not be..." Dabi was cut off by the manager continuing to shout at Kirin.
"IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR! TIME TO GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER. YOU HAVE A SHOW IN 3 MONTHS AND THIS SHIT, THIS WOE IS ME SHIT IS NOT WHAT THEY WANT! LET'S GO ALREADY!"
Dabi had enough and went to enter the booth. However, before he got to intervene, the man was screaming in fear and had collapsed to his knees. Dabi looked at Kirin who was just pointing at her manager, eyes dark and just staring at the fear-filled man. The manager begged her to stop but she just turned to the door and started walking away. She opened the door to where Nikki and Dabi were, she almost walked right into Dabi,
"What did you do to him"
"Put him in his place. Now, move, dog."
Dabi slammed his fist against the door frame right about her head, "Don't call me that," he growled at her, but Kirin just laughed at his frustration,
"Awe, is puppy mad? Move." she pushed him out of her way and continued walking out.
Dabi followed her out and grabbed her elbow, turning her around, " Stop calling me that!" His face was mere centimeters away from hers, in an attempt to intimidate her and prove his point.
Kirin chuckled, "And if I don't? What the hell are you going to do about it?"
"Then I'll just have to make you shut up," Dabi tightened his grip on her, pulled her to him and kissed her. A smirk started curling on Dabi's lips as he kissed her, feeling her kiss back a little. He backed her up against a wall and just before it got any more heated, Kirin suddenly pushed him off her, wiping him off of her lips.
"What the hell are you doing?!" She snapped, regaining her composure.
Dabi smirked, rubbing the back of his neck, "Heat of the moment. Sorry."
"Ugh! Don't ever do that again!" Kirin barked out at him and stormed off, feeling very confused about what just happened. Kirin still had very strong feelings for Hawks, keeping tabs on him and thinking about him frequently. However, the last couple of months, with Dabi by her side all the time, she had developed something for him; even her assistant had noticed that Kirin and Dabi had picked up some of each other's mannerisms. Kirin tried to shove the feelings down, repeating that she hated him to herself, that he was her guard and nothing else. She got to the black car she and Dabi had taken earlier,
