"Let's waste time, chasing cars . . ." . . . Still a better song than the radio today.
I shake my head, and look out the window. I grab my phone, to find millions of texts from Tom, Sonja, Jordan, Tucker, Lizzie, and Leah.
Tom the most.
Sighing, I open it up.
"Erin? You there?"
"Oh. I guess not. I'll ask later."
"EriN?"
"Erin..."
"I have something to tell youuu"
"I love teaaa"
"Dont listen to my vines where I said tea was a stereotypical thing"
"teaaa"
"ERIn"
"erIN"
"ERIN"
"ArE WE DATING YEt"
"wait"
"****"
"don't answer that"
"unless if its a yes"
"waiT TOM STOP"
"ugh."
"well"
"I..."
"I think I..."
"I think I love you Erin. I need to say it before my thumbs accidentally type it."
There were no more texts from Tom after that. Smiling slightly, I text back.
"Well. I love Cake, but you dont see me telling cake that love it, now do you?"
Smirking, I go to my convo with Jardon Moron- I mean Jordan Maron. I totally didn't mean the moron part. Pfft.
"Erin"
"You okay?"
"I'll take that as a no?"
"Alright. When you're better, text me."
Giggling, I reply.
"I'm fine, Moron."
I go to my other convos to find them like the one with Jordan's.
I lay back in my seat, and Chasing Cars ends.
I then whisper to myself, "Oh, what am I going to do with my pathetic life?"
