The plane ride from Boston to LA was long. Well, it felt long. I rub my eyes, and find my smart phone in the small zipped up part. I grab it, and text Erin.

The phone vibrating in my hand stuns me.

I put on my Vans, and my jacket. It was only slightly chilly in LA.
I grab my keys from our plaque of keys (because we're just that weird) and walk outside. I grab the garage door opener from the hidden spot, and open up the door. I unlock my car door, and open it, entering the car like a boss.
I may have looked like a boss, but I was secretly broken.
I start to drive towards the airport, feeling a tear fall down my face.
I need to quit letting Tom get to me. We broke up a week ago. Yet I was still moping.
