Ambrose left Five and Luther knowing he wouldn't be followed however, he couldn't stop thinking about what Five had said. It could bother anyone from any perspective but the problem was he didn't predict it so he didn't know if it was a lie or not.

As Ambrose made his way into an alleyway he felt like he was being watched and even followed but why he chose to ignore it was because he was at a dead end. He stared at the brick wall only to hear footsteps that stopped abruptly causing his wings to spread, turning to the armed men and seeing a woman in between them.

"Why hello Ambrose Caesar or Hargreeves which do you prefer?"

Ambrose scanned the men pointing their guns at him eyeing them only for her to order them to lower their weapons, "I prefer Doctor Ambrose Caesar-Hargreeves... if you don't mind."

"Well, of course, you are a genius after all. You know we've been watching you for quite some time."

It suddenly clicked, "You're the Handler I assume." She smiled.

"Oh, you are quick! As I remembered."

"What do you want with me? Because last time I checked you want Five, not me."

"Yeah, that is true, Boys. you're dismissed. The doctor won't cause harm." The men merely disappeared, "Relax I just want to talk. I don't want to hurt you."

"Put the briefcase down then." She complied and Ambrose sighed as his wings settled disappearing allowing The Handler to remove her sunglasses.

"Now let's talk."

"About?"

"The truth and why-"

"Why was Five assigned to take me out?"

"Oh, that? I didn't order it, you see. You don't belong to this timeline in truth you were supposed to die with your family that night."

"What? What the fuck are you talking about!" Ambrose got closer to her shifting his crutch into a scythe so sharp that it nearly cut the women who stood still and calm.

"Doctor, please I assure you that after you give me a chance to explain everything will begin to make sense." Ambrose didn't move the weapon and stayed where it was.

"Continue."

"Of course. As you see you killed my men which sparked interest with the board. They wanted to send someone else to take you out but I convinced them to keep you in the timeline until something caused you to merely die again."

"The coma."

"Precisely. We assumed you'd die but Five became employed by me and received an order to take you out as you survived the coma but when Five learned it was you he couldn't take you out. Let's say I pulled some strings and now you're dead to the board that is."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because Five broke some rules which shifted lots of things like how it's now known you're alive and so I came to warn you on your journey."

"Warn me?"

"Hazel and Cha-Cha and now after you as well."

Ambrose's crutch returned to its natural state as he began to walk past her, "You should be warning them not me."

"Doctor! Wait one moment. There is something else."

"What?" Ambrose looked at her.

"You can see the future, so tell me does Five stop the apocalypse?" she grinned she knew what Ambrose knew this scared him genuinely, "You know just as well as I do that Five can't change anything."
