- his first instinct is to calm you down before asking what's wrong

- cuddles you and rubs your back while you cry on his shoulder

- murmurs a lot of sweet things in your ear like "you're doing great, love" , "i love you so so much" , "thank you for existing" , etc

- listens to what you're saying in concern, without interrupting and letting you form your words patiently

- his comforting words about your rant give you the reassurance and courage that you needed

- at first, you thought there was no possibility to feel better after what happened to you. but in the end, you did manage to feel better thanks to him <3

- it takes him by surprise, but when he hears you sob he drops everything he's doing at the moment and rushes to you

- he doesn't say anything, just rests your head on his lap and comforts you

- the attention and affection he gives you at the moment almost makes you guess how soonie would feel

- it blows his mind up. how does one still glow so bright ? sure your hair is a bit messy and your face is all red, but those are just the little things that do nothing to hide your beauty. your eyes still radiate life and your skin glistens.

- but it also pains him to see you so vulnerable and broke. if he could, he'd take your pain in your place

- massages your head when he feels how heated it's become

- kisses your eyelids and hugs you and buries your head in the crook of his head, for as long as you stay

- and before he could realise, a tear slips down his own eye while watching you hurt.

- he doesn't realise it but his contagious smiles and hugs comfort you and soon, it unknowingly makes you subtly smile back

- you both have deep convos about it later at night when you aren't crying

- doesn't try to say anything peachy and just stays by your side because he understands your pain
