"M...M...M wake up...." I open my eyes and realise where I am. I'm 23 again sleeping in the on-call room about to miss the morning rounds

"Dang you were out so hard," said Heather. Heather is my life saviour I swear to god if she wasn't here I would miss the rounds every alternate day.

"Here take your coffee and run with me"

"What would I do without you?" I say while stretching my hands

"You'd be kicked out in a week." She smirks

We both run and join others
We are interns at Seattle Grace hospital and our resident in charge is Dr Bailey or should I say the nazi. She hates us.

On the first day of our intern year, she made that very clear. My group has 5 people including me it's Heather, Isabelle, Gavin, Anthony and me.

Heather is the most driven one she is the best amongst all of us.

Nazi was talking about how the attendings will treat us like crap and how we should know our position in the surgical food chain which is nothing.

But my mind kept drifting to my dream which was nothing but my memories. I haven't thought about it in years and now suddenly...

"Dr Roy something you'd like to share since your so busy thinking and not paying attention to my golden words"
"No ma'am I was just thinking about the patient from room 2114"
"Is that so? So tell me your thoughts on it"

Ms Parker from room 2114 came into the ER a few months back complaining about difficulty in breathing Dr Montgomery diagnosed her with stage-IV lung cancer. She has been receiving radiation and chemotherapy but none of that is working on her.

"Since we have exhausted the option of radiation, chemotherapy the patient has suggested physician-assisted suicide and as her Doctor, I cannot tell her my personal opinion but I think she should wait on lung transplant"

"Dr Karev tell me why is Dr Roy wrong"

Anthony smirked and said
"Even if she gets lucky to get a lung transplant it will be useless as she is allergic to anaesthesia  and immunosuppressive agents which are necessary for transplants"

I missed that detail.

"So Dr Roy now you see how daydreaming does not work well with doctors I expect nothing from all of you but this is just worse than that"

I keep my head low and just listen to her. She briefs us about the next meeting and leaves.

"You seriously could tell that patient as an excuse what were you even thinking M"
Heather says lightly and hits Anthony with her notepad
"And you, you already know we don't like you so don't contribute to that"

"As if I care Collins it's a race you snooze you lose it's better if M realises that soon"
Anthony leaves
"You know how he is don't bother," Isabelle says
Gavin is usually not interested in these matters and remains quite

"Yeah I know anyway let's go to Ms Parker's room it's time"

We all head to room 2114 and see Anthony kissing baileys ass.

"He should know better the Nazi doesn't even give attention to attendings" Gavin speaks finally.

Dr Montgomery is already there she is one of the most beautiful women I have seen she has dark red hair the perfect hourglass figure the rosy cheeks red lips and a pump for every dress. I do admire her. When it comes to her speciality she is an oncologist which is boring really but she makes it bearable for us.

"It's time Bruce," she says in her soft but stern voice.
Bruce is Mr Parker, I feel sad for him seeing his wife commit suicide but cannot even see her suffer.

Dr Montgomery injects the poison slowly into her IV and we wait.

"Time of death 13:45" she announces
And we all leave.

Gavin is taller than me but shorter than most guys is insanely fair and have blue eyes brown hair which is messy most of the time. Heather and I were the smartest kids in our grade so it only made sense that we pursue our goal together and I couldn't be happier she is my person. Isabelle is of my height blue eyes blonde hair and Indeed stunning. Anthony is the meathead he is tall muscular with my complexion and short brown hair and brown eyes. Sometimes I wonder how did he get in here.

We all walk together and I crash into Dr Christian Avery
" walk carefully Dr. Roy" he smiles and walks away
"he is so cheesy ugh I wanna puke," Heather says
"oh come on he is so handsome and gentle," Isabelle says half fantasising
" yeah, I agree Heather," I say flatly.
"Why are you all against me ahhhh" Isabelle grunts.

Dr Avery is a cardiothoracic specialist and indeed one of the most handsome men I have seen he is way taller than me and has a golden complexion with light brown hair which is soft curls sharp jawline with a trimmed beard and the softest grey-blue eyes I have ever seen.

I stop thinking about him and go to the cafeteria.

That night I continue the memory of Nate.
