Chapter 5: Lucid Dreams.

The next class was a few days later, in that break I kept thinking about Nate even though I know I shouldn't.

Heather and I connected via Instagram and calls she was indeed my person. We had so many common topics to talk about and I loved how our opinions matched.

So the next time we met in AP Bio we sat beside each other Keisha and Heather didn't get along that well for some reason but it was manageable.

"I hope Violet shows up today"
Heather says
"Violet?"
"Oh yes you don't know violet she is my dear friend and a freaking genius she misses these classes because of her other commitments "

If Heather likes violet then I suppose there is no harm in making a new friend.
"There's violet"
Heather exclaims

I see a fair-skinned tall girl with freckles and brown hair black eyes.
"Hey bitch" she says in a thick British accent to Heather.
"Hey stranger long time no see this is M by the way she burned Derek the other day you should've seen that"
I blush a bit
"You have my utmost respect also Heyy I am Violet it's so nice to meet you"
"Hoi I'm M and trust me it was completely my pleasure in roasting him"
We three chuckle

Across the room I see Nate eyeing me I shift in my place and focus on the class
Over the weeks Heather Violet and I form a trio just like Derek Nate and Andy
Oh yes, the pale guy's name is Andy.

I exchanged few conversations with Derek over time and I have to say he is really sweet to me, unlike Nate who barely participates in the conversation.

Violet indeed was a genius she had the best logical skills amongst us and handled AP physics and AP Bio like a pro.

The three of us used to skip class sometimes to go have McDonald's because why not. I felt accepted.

Once Andy Heather and I went together because we came in early for the extra session I could sense something between them they exchanged many looks Andy kept on trying to make her laugh I was happy for Heather. I trusted Andy since he seemed the most sincere from their trio. I made tons of joke about them and kept teasing them. I started calling Heather Peaches she and I nicknamed Andy Mr Voldy and her as Bellatrix it was our little secret While rambling Andy accidentally mentioned Brent having a crush on me and I almost choked on my drink.

Brent was a kind person he was there when I needed help and never boasted about it he was an average looking guy with a great sense of humour but I never thought of him in that way.

To be honest I never thought about any guy in that way. Except for Derek, I think I am confusing his kindness with a sense of infatuation but whatever it may be he did catch my attention.

One day Nate and I got into an argument about a numerical and were fussing about writing the answer in the notebook he snatched my pen and I chased him in the class he went and sat on the last seat and as I was approaching him I slipped and almost fell on him but caught his shoulder for support.

Our eyes locked again I could feel my heart beating faster I was sure my cheeks were red I could feel built of his shoulders and this time neither of us looked away until I heard others chanting "Nate and M rule" I immediately pulled away and told everyone to stop and stormed out of the classroom.

Since then people started shipping me and Nate when in fact I think I liked Derek.

*beep beep beep beep* I stop my alarm and wake up. This time I was aware I was dreaming I guess I was having a lucid dream.
* A lucid dream is a type of dream where the dreamer becomes aware that they are dreaming*
