"Chloe! Maria! We need to leave now!" Miss Heliotrope echoed through the house, I sighed and placed the last dress in my suitcase. it had been a long day, just less than an hour ago we had been sitting in that stuffy office listening to how my father had gambled our lives away and left us with nothing but a story book. I looked at my now uncovered, empty bed, with nothing on it but the old leather book my father had given us. I picked it up and ran my hand over it feeling all the pearls sticking out of the cover, I slid it in the side of my bag and started for the door, not even looking back.

"Ah there you are my dear." Miss Heliotrope said as I walked out the front door for the last time. she and Maria stood by the carriage, waiting for me. I looked to my right and all the "help" was lined up to say goodbye. I hugged each one and said goodbye, when I finally reached the end my best friend, Julia, stood there her black hair stuck to her wet, tear soaked face
"Bye" she choked out
"Bye" I sighed and hugged her
"Make s-sure you c-come back to visit" she mustered up with a weak smile
"I promise, I'll come back soon" I smiled and let a single tear roll down my cheek. I wiped it away as soon as possible, I walked back to my sister and Miss Heliotrope and they started to climb into the carriage, I gave one final wave goodbye to everyone and climbed into the carriage.

The road was just as I remembered bumpy, but the views were beautiful. Maria and Miss Heliotrope droned on and on about how they couldn't live I the country and how they hated the bumpy, unpaved roads. I soon drowned it all out and fell into a light slumber, while leaning on the uncomfortable glass window.

Maria's POV:
"How can she possibly sleep at a time like this" I asked Miss Heliotrope and gestured to my sleeping twin sister.
"I don't know dear, you two are so alike yet so different at the same time." she answered with a smile.
"Miss Heliotrope, look up ahead" I pointed out the window at the stone wall with a large gate in the middle
"Looks like we're almost there" she said and placed a reassuring ham on my shoulder
"Darling, wake up" Miss Heliotrope shook Chloe to wake her, she shot up in her seat
"We're almost there" she answered her unspoken questiones, she relaxed and took her uncomfortable looking shoes off and sat them in the floor. we all sat in silence waiting as we approached the gate.

Chloe's POV:
The carriage came to a halt, signaling that we had finally reached the gate. I sighed and waited as digweed dug for his keys. I leaned out the window ready to make a smart comment about losing his keys when a pair of strong, familiar pair of arms snaked around my waist and mouth. I bit down on the hand, but stopped when I got the taste of blood, and they started to pull away, their arms released me and I soon climbed on top of the now moving cart to catch this "robber". when I reached the roof they were gone, I sat on the edge of the cart and looked down to find the boy from my fathers funeral . I must have made a shocked noise of some sort because digweed turned around and stopped the carriage immediately after he saw me sitting on the roof, which then the sudden stop sent me flying through the air, towards the ground. I closed my eyes and braced for the impact, which never came. I felt the same hands wrap around me and hold my body close to theirs, I let out a sigh of relief I didn't even know I was holding and opened my bright blue eyes, the first thing I saw was a black, black fabric to be exact, I looked up at my savior and sat dumb founded, staring into his intoxicatingly, familiar, hazel eyes.
"Robin" was all I could choke out, barely above a whisper, but loud enough that he heard
"Princess" he smirked but our moment was soon cut short by the yelling and pounding of foot steps nearing. he sat me gently back on the ground and "disappeared" into the shadows of the wall
"Chloe!" Rang in my ears, and ripped me from my daze
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine" I smiled and walked back around the carriage to the worried faces of Miss Heliotrope, Maria , and Digweed.
"I'm fine, come on let's go, uncle Benjamin is waiting for us" I smirked and climbed into the carriage.
"Are you sure your ok" Miss Heliotrope questioned as she sat down beside Maria
"Never better" I smiled and stared out the window taking in all the beautiful landscape (which included robin, the boy dressed in black, sneaking around the wall).
