A Moonacre twist

Chapter four

The landscape was just as I remembered, beautiful. The big beautiful Moonacre manor came into view, I couldn't help but let out a sigh I relief, I loved this place
"Hm, not bad" Miss Heliotrope added
I rolled my eyes and continued to stare in awe at the manor. as we pulled up I spotted uncle Benjamin waiting by the door for us, I slipped on my uncomfortable shoes and waited with anticipation for digweed to open the carriage doors. I hadn't realized just how much I had missed Moonacre, uncle Benjamin, Robin, and even digweed. but I had missed Robin the most, he was my best friend, I could tell him anything. but those thoughts were quickly lost when the carriage finally came to a halt at the doors, it felt like an hour until digweed finally reached the door, I grabbed my bags and quickly took digweed's hand to help me out of the carriage
"Thank you" I smiled, and speed walked up to uncle and we embraced each other in a hug.
"Iv missed this place so much" I admitted when we released from our hug
"I hope that includes me" he smirked
"Of course" I smiled, my mind suddenly snapped out of its euphoria daze.
"Oh, uncle this is Maria, and Miss Heliotrope." I gestured at the shocked looking red heads
"Oh, it's nice to finally meet you, I'm sorry it had to be under these circumstances" uncle explained
"Uh, yes, yes of course. sir Benjamin, but I think you would like to know that we were ambushed at your gates" Miss Heliotrope exclaimed
"Ah, yes it was surly just the De' Noirs, come let's go inside." uncle said ushering us towards the door
"Oh, I was going to help digweed put the horses up" I stopped to look back at the scruffy man
"No, no I'm fine m'lady. go catch up with your family." he smiled
"Oh, thank you digweed, but I promise to help tomorrow" I said while hugging the man
"Of course m'lady" he replied with a big smile, I walked back to uncle with his arm out for him to escort me inside, I took it an we sashayed up the stairs. once we reached the great hall, inside uncle turned towards us
"I have some unfinished business to attend to in my study, so Chloe would you mind giving them the tour, you do still remember where everything is?" Uncle questioned
"Of course uncle" I smiled
"That's what I thought, Chloe you'll be staying in your room, Maria you'll be in the room across from hers, and as for you Miss Heliotrope you will be staying in the room down the hall. alright I'll see you all at dinner." And with that uncle turned and entered his study
"Alright let's get this over with" I said
"Let's start in here, well as you can tell it's the living room" I was soon interrupted by a ear shattering bark, Miss Heliotrope and Maria held each other and screamed at the huge black, red eyed dog standing in front of us
"This is wrolf" I said and sunk down to my knees to play with the big fluffy dog
"Will he try to bite us" Maria asked with scared eyes
"We'll your a Merryweather, so probably not" I answered and patted the huge dog

Robin's POV:
I quickly ran to the nearby bush outside the Merryweather manor, I waited in anticipation as the carriage came up the drive. it finally reached the front entrance where sir Benjamin was standing, quickly a blonde haired beauty stepped out and walked to sir Benjamin and hugged him, I could only faintly hear their talking. I only got bits and pieces "ambushed", "De' Noirs" I cold see the smirk on Chloe's dazzling face, I then heard her trying to help digweed and couldn't help but smile at her kind heart. she then was escorted by sir Benjamin up the stairs into the manor, but I couldn't help but stare at her perfectly, tan, bare back. I smirked at the thought of have just half an hour ago my cold hands had warmed as I touched her bare back, I started back to the De' Noir castle and smiled all the way home, just thinking about having my princess back.
