The clicking of the door locks woke my sleeping body, I cuddled even closer to my extremely softer than normal pillow hoping to be enveloped back into my deep sleep, the sensation of a muscular hand sliding onto my waist shot my unwoken brain into action, my eyes snapped open and I was staring strait at robins peaceful face soaked in sleep. A shriek of horror came from the door, Robin's eyes broke open and his grip on my waist tightened, we sat still in a silent conversation slowly we turned our attention to where the source of the shriek came from, Maria, she stood frozen with fear. the sight of her confused me, why was she scared? Then it hit me like a load of bricks, I was in my bed sleeping with an mysterious man who had his arm around my waist.
"Oh...um..this...this is not what it looks like." I struggled to say as I wormed my way out of Robin's arms and out of bed the suddenness making me dizzy, I started to fall but again Robin came to my rescue and I held onto his arm for dear life.
"Oh really, it sure does look like something" Maria smirked, oh this is war now, I have leverage. a dark chuckle resonated from inside me and a wicked grin took the place of my astonished face
"Oh don't forget, I caught you and that stable boy yesterday in the barn" I shot back at her, her face fell. I won! Inside I did a victory dance.
"I won't tell uncle if you don't" Maria bargained
"Deal, let's shake on it" I told her, I spit on my hand and stuck it out for her to shake, her face turned disgusted, but she lightly spit her saliva on her reluctant hand. I snatched her hand and shook it anyway, she quickly slipped her hand away from me and wiped it on her pink flowery dress
"I'll be on my way then" and with that Maria scurried down the stairs
" You better leave, Maria isn't the most trusting person" I explained and shoved Robin towards the window he had com from
"Whoa whoa, wait we're not even gonna talk about what happened" Robin questioned while gripping onto the rope dangling from my windowseal "Um, nope" and with that I shut the window of opportunity, literally I shut the window on him, that might have been a little to harsh, oh we'll, and with a pang of guilt I sauntered down the stairs to the dinning hall for dinner.
