"Fuck!" He moaned into my ear as he pulled out, letting himself go everywhere on my sheets.

"Nigga! I just washed these sheets!" I pushed him off of me so I could get up and get ready for the day.

He rolled over and kissed my shoulder. "My bad, baby. Better on your sheets than in you though. I don't need no more kids right now."

"I bet you don't, Al Capone." I gave him a kiss before I grabbed my journal and got up and walked to the bathroom.

I let the shower water run hot for a few minutes while I washed my face and brushed my teeth, I figured since I got a moment of me time, I'd write in my journal, so:

Dear Diary,

I found out my man is a drug lord. Now most women would run at the first sign of danger, but he treats me so good, especially in not knowing me long. It's been years since I've let anyone treat me like how I'm supposed to be treated. My ex really fucked me up. Gave another woman everything that I wanted. But I was so young, I'm only 23 now. I want to open up more, but I'm scared of being hurt like that again. Right now I'm hopping on a leap
Of faith dating a whole drug dealer. My family really doesn't have to know that though. That's if he makes it to meet the family. Not doubting it, but it's too soon to tell.

Signed off,

Diana

"Di! I gotta piss girl! Can you please unlock the door!" Tyrell yelled from the other side of the door, banging loudly.

Covering my mouth from my laugh, I hid my journal under the sink and opened the door.

"Thank you very much! You haven't even touched the water yet! The fuck you be doing in here?"

"My skincare routine!" I shot back, poking his forehead with my index finger.

"Yeah yeah hurry up and wash ya ass! I wanna take you my mama and DeNali out to eat for brunch. Ain't that what the women call it? Brunch? The fuck it that?"

"It's breakfast and lunch and don't rush me!" I removed my silk robe stepped into the shower.

"Well if that's the case, why the fuck there ain't a linner or a brinner? Lunch and dinner? Dinner and breakfast?"

The fact that this grown ass man was really serious about this conversation caused me to laugh out loud.

He chuckled, taking a peep into the shower curtain. "Well since you're in a laughing mood, let me join you in that shower. Save the planet, have a little more fun you feel me?"

"Boy bye! You don't have a change aid clothes over here, and we've had out fun from 4 this morning until 7am. I am tired and you need to go home and freshen up over there!" I grabbed the curtain and pulled it shut.

He gasped dramatically and clenched his chest. "okay ma, I see how it is! I'm hurt." He fake cried.

"Yeah ok, don't forget to flush and wash your hands on the way out." I waved him off.

"Man, bye." He smacked his lips. He made sure to do what I said though.

Once I left the bathroom to let Di handle her lady business, I checked the messages and voicemails on my phone.

Reggie: Columbia called me at 3 this morning. they ready.

Ma: I'm taking DeNali to see your dad at the site after brunch, he needs new flowers.
