Derek's pov:
The food was absolutely mouthwatering! There was and is no other word for it! Of course I have had my fair share of good food or in that case pizzas, but not ever like that one. The best to my shock however was the completely unspectacular looking pizza sticks. My face must of looked really funny, at least by how hard Sophie has been giggling at it. And after Emily joined in too, i thought they were never going to stop laughing all together. It however was amazing to see Sophie as happy after the horrible day she had. Spencer's injuries were the last straw that nearly made her collapse, but she is strong. Way stronger than her appearance would lead on. It however made me feel like I won something incredible for making her giggle like that. No wonder Spencer has been hiding her till now. She is such a sweetheart and truly should be happy like that throughout her whole life and never get faced with such cruelty as she currently is.
„Is it ok to talk with Morgan privately for a few minutes?" Emily softly asks Sophie. At hearing that I look at her in irritation. Why would she need to talk privately with me? It can't be about Spencer, right? I mean I just talked with him! There can't be possible anything that happened while we were eating. Right!?
„Sure. Should I wait outside on the balcony?" Sophie asks after standing up. Obviously ready to leave right away and without any further explanation.
„No, you can stay in here. We can go outside." I softly say. Not wanting anyone to see her standing outside since it would give away her whereabouts which we certainly plan on keeping a secret!
„Are you Sure?" she questions, seemingly unsure if she should let us go outside instead of herself. So with a positive nod from me, Emily and I walk outside. Of course I asked Sophie before doing so to stay in the room and get us if something should happen or someone would knock on the door! When the door closes after us, I turn towards Emily, wanting to know what she needs to talk about. The sooner she starts the fast this is over and we can go back to Sophie.
„I am pretty sure that you won't answer me, but who is that girl?" she asks straight to the point I guess. My face scrunches up slightly, not wanting to tell her that Sophie is Spencer's sister. This after all would betray Spencer's trust in me and that won't happen! Not if I can stop it.
„Ok." she sighs after watching me intensely for some time. Seemingly answering her own question from my reaction alone.
„Just answer me this then, do those two know each other? Because anything else wouldn't make sense at all." Emily try's. Thinking about it, I still am not sure if I can answer her truthfully. On the other side, there is nothing wrong if she knows that they know each other. She must of figured that out on her own by now anyway. Alone the honest panic in Sophie's eyes as we told her about Spencer gave that much away. So instead of voicing my answer or explain more about it, I simply nod my head in answer.
„Guess that explains some things." she mumbles to herself as she shakes her head slightly.
„JJ has texted me and wanted to know what's going on since Spencer tried to wrestle himself free from the hospital bed because he wanted to go see Sophie." she informs me as my eyes widen at that piece of news. The Spencer that I know would never act like that. No wonder JJ wanted to get answers. Still, I definitely won't be the one providing those for her or anyone in that matter. Emily just wanted to say something else as my phone suddenly started to ring.
„Baby Girl. Did you find something?" I ask cheerful. Not only am I happy to hear from her, but I am at least equally as happy that she saved me from any more questions that I won't be able to answer Emily any longer.
„Someone just hacked the hospital database Spencer is currently laying in." my baby girl says in a hectic. I can hear her frantically typing around before she stopped with a gasp.
„What's the matter? What happened?" I ask her worried what she might have found.
„I am not too sure, I think I might.....oh my god!" she says as if realization starts to catch up with her.
„Need to go now chocolate thunder!" she says and ends the call in a hurry and certainly without any explanation. The curious look on Emily face makes me shrug.
„Someone hacked the database from the hospital Spencer is currently in. Then she did her thing and suddenly stopped. Ended the call without any explanation or anything." I tell her which seems to confuse her as much as it does me as well. Another ringing was heard from within the hotel room this time. Getting the both of us in high alert right away.
„Hello?" Sophie asks in her delicate voice that makes everything within me yearn to be near her.
„PG! How are you!?" she asks happily yet confused on the sudden call it seems. When Emily and I throw the door open to see what's going on, she squeals and jumps from the bed in a panic. Seeing her like this makes me want to hug and protect her even more. Sophie truly is too sweet for any of what's happening around her!
„Who are you talking to Sophie?" Emily wants to know. Still her tone is rather soft as to not spook er even more. Those brightly blue eyes blown extremely wide, just like a deer that got caught in the headlights. When her eyes however find mine she takes a few deep breaths before sitting back down on the bed.
„An old friend of mine just called." she mumbles unsure if we are going to be mad or scold her for it.
„That's fine Sophie! Just remember to not tell them where you are at the moment. Ok?" i softly remind her and take a seat on the opposite side of the bed. Only now seeing the laptop on said bed. It is facing Sophie, so I can't see what she is looking at right now. By her guilty look thought, I am pretty sure she does something we wouldn't approve of. But for now, I want her to talk with her friend some more, maybe whoever this may be will be able to calm her down again. Since she still sits stiff on the bed, phone still grasped tightly in her hands, I nod towards it with a small smile. She thankfully seems to understand right away what I mean by that since her cheeks turn into a wonderful pink color. Seemingly only now realizing that she still is on the phone with this PG person.
„Sorry for the interruption PG, how can I help you?" she questions now back into the phone. Her head like earlier slightly bowed to the floor, therefore averting her eyes from mine and Emily's.
„can I Maybe call you a bit later? Or even text? I have some company right about now." she asks after nodding her head along to whatever the other one was saying.
„You still remember the forum?" she whispers in astonishment after peeking towards me and Emily that stands to my right.
„Ok, Till later. Thanks again PG." she says and ends the call. When her eyes find mine again she looks rather unsure. Guess she isn't sure if she should tell us about this mystery PG and that forum she has been talking about or not.  Hmm, she seems to have a few more secrets from us, or me, as well as I thought.
