Just text her.

No, don't text her.

Maybe she feels bad now.

But for fucks sake she was the one who got the two of us together and then all of the sudden she grows cold.

But maybe if I give her a second chance...

"Oh my God." I yell out frustrated.

"Everything okay?"

I turn on the chair I was sitting at, to look over at Pete who was lying on the bed.

"No Pete, I have no fucking clue what to do about the whole thing with Mika." I sigh placing my elbows on my vanity where I was getting ready, and resting my head in my hands.

"Mya... if you really feel like you don't want to be friends with her again, then don't worry about it. I don't want this to stress you out." Pete says sympathetically.

"That's the issue... I don't know if I want to even try and fix things with her."

"Well why not?"

I exhale loudly and sit silent for a minute.

"Think about it, she was the one who wanted us to both be together and then once we do it's like she fucking hated us."

Pete sighed giving me a sad look as he set his phone down by his side.

"Listen I think if there is any part of you that wants to try and fix things, then I would reach out. And if she acts like a bitch then just forget about her."

He gets up off the bed and walks over to me placing his large hands on my shoulders; as he begins to rub them, hoping it would help release some stress.

I take my face out of my hands and look into the mirror that was in front of me. I looked at Pete as he stared down at his hands that were massaging my shoulders.

"Yeah I guess your right." I say still staring into the mirror.

His eyes look up as he now looks at me through the mirror.

"I'm always here baby. I never want you to be stressed." He says smiling before placing light kisses on my neck.

"How did I get so fucking lucky with you?" I ask smiling and leaning my head back into his chest.

"You must have good taste." He says laughing as he looks down at me, as I stared up at him.

Leaning down, he places a soft kiss on my lips staying there for second before pulling away.

"God I love you." I say standing up out of the chair and pulling him into a tight hug.

"I love you too angel." He whispers into my ear, as he begins rubbing my back soothingly.

We stay like that for a couple of minutes, but I wish it could never end. Pete was my happy place, I felt safe when I was wrapped tightly in his arms, he felt like home.

I sit on the living room couch finally mustering up the courage to send a text to Mika. I hadn't talked to her in so long that I wouldn't even have known if she blocked me.

I stare down at the text thread between the two of us. I wished Pete could be here for moral support. Unfortunately, he had another appointment to go get more of his tattoos removed which then left me here alone.

It felt so stupid to feel like I need the extra support to send a fucking text to someone. But Mika and I had never had a fight like this. We haven't seen or talked to each other for months now.
