I pause, I hold my breath.
I listen to the off-beating of my heart,
my brains skips as it drones out words,
chapter by chapter of how every moment with you
seems like a love story.
By body ships it, my emotions take to the sky:
maybe I could outrun the wind if I tried,
maybe I could melt into pulp if I wanted to,
You remind me fairytales can exist,
and disasters can be miracles.
