All life is sacred.
It's a false story we tell the ones we love.
Maybe to seem smart, or poetic ...
Or to seem madly in Love.
Yet you whisper promises of love,
And then walk away.
Leaving nothing but emptiness.
A bitter echo of life.
If that isn't desecration, please tell me what is?
