"My brother said he likes you," Aminity said as she sat on the couch next to Oliver, handing him the bowl of popcorn.

"Thank God. I was terrified I said something wrong at the dinner we all had."

"No. I was the only one in the wrong for not telling him before he found us at dinner and decided to join us. You were perfect though."

"Good. 'Cause I really like where this is going."

"Me too." He smiled, leaning over and gently placing his lips on hers. "Now I really like it," she said before kissing him again.

They sat at a booth in Pop's, eating breakfast as a group. Jughead reached over to Betty's plate and stole a sausage link. She pretended to roll her eyes, but her smile gave her away.

"And who's that boy we've seen you hanging around with?" Veronica brought up, looking at Aminity and making her blush. "So there's definitely something there."

"His name is Oliver a-"

"He's her boyfriend. They had a movie date at his house last night."

"Jug!"

"It's true," he shrugged and she stole a bit of his pancake in retaliation. "Hey!" She only shrugged, making the others laugh.

"What's that pout for?" Aminity asked as she ran into Sweet Pea while walking Hot Dog.

"It's nothing."

"Come on. You're my best friend." He didn't say anything. "Walk with us?"

"Fine," he grumbled, joining them. "It's Josie," he broke the silence after a few minutes.

"What happened?" she asked without looking at him, knowing it made him more comfortable.

"She wanted me to be the date to her mom and Kevin's dad's wedding."

"Isn't that a good thing?"

"No... Yes... It's complicated."

"Then explain it."

"We were... hooking up over the summer. She said it was just a summer fling and I was okay with that at first, but then we kept meeting after the summer every once and awhile. I thought maybe it would turn into something. So I told her I liked her and asked if I would be going as her boyfriend."

"What did she say?"

"She didn't want to put a label on it." He sighed. "I don't know. I like her, but I don't want her just coming to me whenever she doesn't want to be alone."

"Then don't let her. You have a right to feel however you want to. You should be able to have a say in your relationships. But don't stay in one that's not healthy where you're not getting what you want. That's not good for anyone."

He nodded as he thought it over. "You wanna maybe hang our Friday night? We haven't really done much together lately."

"That would be great, but I already have plans. Sorry."

"It's good. Fangs probably wanted to do something anyway. What are you doing?"

"I'm going on a date with Oliver."

"Oliver?"

"I met him in the hospital. We've been dating for about a month now."

"I'm happy for you."
