Ladies, Did you remind yourself how beautiful and sexy you are today? Gentlemen, Did you remind yourself how dashing and handsome you are today? If you haven't already done so, please do so now!

Repeat after me, "I am worthy", "I am strong", " I have a kind heart, and a genuine soul". "I am learning to love myself, more and more everyday", "I am at peace with my past" and lastly; "I am love".

One of the most powerful and important thing you can do in life is to learn to love yourself. Having a high regard for your well-being and happiness is what self-love entails. Self-love means taking care of YOUR needs rather than sacrificing your happiness to please others.

Growing up, your personal experiences may had strongly impacted on your self-esteem. Maybe you didn't get any love/reassurance from your parents when you were a kid, maybe your parents/guardians emotionally abused you and called you names, maybe you were always being compared, maybe you were intimidated by the pictures of models you've seen in magazines or social media or maybe your situation was similar to mine, where you were bullied because of your appearance.
It took me a while to realize that what people say about you is simply a mere reflection of how they think and see themselves. People will always find a way to "talk down" on someone, even if they don't know the individual they're talking down upon, all due to their own insecurities. These people are unhappy within themselves and seek to improve their own self-esteem by speaking negatively about others. You should never allow those individuals to get to you.

Accepting and embracing your "insecurities" and loving yourself for who you are can be a difficult journey; there will be days when you feel confident and days when you feel insecure; during those days it's important to remember that self-love isn't a linear process; no matter how badly we wish it was. Every relationship, including the one with yourself, will have it's highs and lows, so don't be so hard on yourself. Self-love is a journey that takes time; so that means you shouldn't feel pressured to wake up today and fall in love with yourself tomorrow!Baby steps are key.

Key points to remember:
1) Social media is fake and toxic. Influencers frequently perform surgeries and use face-tuning apps to fit societal beauty standards . Nothing is wrong with your body, you are perfect exactly as you are, simply because of your uniqueness. Focus on yourself and your journey.

2) Remember that your beauty and your value comes from within.

-You are here right now alive and powerful beyond your own understanding , Self-love may not come easily. But, with time, it will find its way into your heart.-
