Is Y/n like Todoroki?

I actually noticed this when I started posting this story, Y/n is a lot like a mix of Todoroki and Midoriya. She has her own personality but also acts kinda like them. Idk maybe its cause Y/n is kinda based on myself, and Me, Todoroki, and Midoriya all have daddy issues- But in all seriousness, I didn't mean to write her like Shoto! It was a big coincidence. TwT

Where did you get the idea for Y/ns Quirk?

I wanted to make an Oc, and I was a sander sides nerd who loved Virgil (represents anxiety) and I also get panic attacks sometimes, and I was thinking about having shadow clones just be what the name entails. Shadow like clones. But thats to boring and how would she win a fight? And so it clicked. Panic attacks. And boom quirk.

Were Y/ns grandparents abusive?

Mentally? Yes. Physically? Not really. Only ever hit her once before leaving her. I write Y/n based on me, and while I've never been hit by my parents my father is pretty mentally manipulating. So I took my experience and made it into a storyline I believe would be realistic. (Don't come at me with the "ItS yOuR dAd ThO-" I've stopped looking at him like a father. So I can tell you guys how it is. Anyway- :d)

Are we supposed to feel sorry for Y/ns parents?

No- but also yes. In the world of hero's and villains, everyone has there reasons for doing things. And I believe Hanako and zuri were in a bad situation at home. Which isn't the best reasons for becoming villains, but still better than F*CKING ALL FOR ONES REASON OF POWER- Anyway- but if you look into the backstorys of specifically the L.O.V. you know they all did it for a reason. (I won't spoil for anime watchers, BUT ALSO THAT ARC IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN FOR SEASON 5 AND I AM SO EXCITED-)
